I'm a hijabi muslim and I have to say that I follow the ruling that covering your face is not mandatory, but just optional. And, to be honest, it doesn't make sense for it to be mandatory because it has been clarified that we should reveal our faces when we pray and do our hajj. God tells us to dress modestly and cover ourselves, so even if you aren't wearing a hijab but dress modestly, you're still doing good. Therefore, covering your face would only be an option instead of a ruling.

I’m sorry, but this is very extreme and unnecessary, according to high scholars like dr Zakir Naik, the niqab is not compulsory and during hajj it’s not even allowed as well, so why do you go to big lengths just to keep it on? Many hadiths include righteous Muslim women interacting with the prophet (PBUH) who did not cover their face too, the hijab is perfect and anything more should not be too forced upon women at all.

While you were at makkah, did you see many other women wearing this visor style? Or were you mostly alone? Inshallah I would love to wear this kind of thing on hajj one day.

I didn't do that but I wrapped my hijab and then put the rest of it over my face.

Because I follow the opinion that says its fine to cover your face as long it doesn't show your eyes because it could be beautifying your eyes also you can't wear gloves.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was always told that during Hajj women should leave their hands and face uncovered. So by still covering your face during hajj doesnt that make it unacceptable?
