The more I look back on Scarface, the more I realize, these are some of the best scenes in the bizz.. they really made a masterpiece. A lot of the dramatic action scenes towards the end are a bit over the top , for me, but all the little character build-ups and the more seemingly mundane scenes (at first, they seem that way) are really what holds the film up to the test of time. The driver of the vehicle in this movie Santos Morales lived by me in LA and we bacame good friends. He died several years back told me he shot Al Pacino on a movie. I said please explain. He told me that in the movie Serpico its his hand that is hold ing the gun that comes from the other side of the door and pulls the trigger. You only see the gun and the hand and arm but that indeed was him. But he received no official credit inbthe movie for that as he didn't play any real character in that movie
