It turned out really good for me. I doubled the filling, reduced amount of pancake mix, added more milk, and I put the filling more towards the creases. Hope this helps someone who wants to try it to see how it tastes! NO HATE to new shades

I'm confused. I made this once and it turned out really well. Also, it is reaaaaally fun to cut the roll up more and put then in a bowl. Then you have like 8 instead of two

Just use 7 TBS of flower 1 tsp of baking powder and 4 TBS of milk for dough 1 TBS of brown sugar 1 tsp of cinnamon and before adding the cinnamon sugar add soft butter so the cinnamon sugar can stick. then microwave for 1 minute 10 seconds and for the icing add 1 TBS of icing sugar/powdered sugar and 1 tsp of water/milk and there is your cinnamon roll :D

I literally watched the tasty vid and did it. It worked perfectly I just had to trust the process.I used pancake mix to. It was actually very fluffy and rise way more than in the video

I would say your problem was that you didn't follow the recipe. The amounts are so small that you have to measure carefully. I'd say you had more than a 1 1/2 cups of flour to begin with, and you "splashed" in a couple of tbls of milk - when the recipe only has 2 tbls of milk to begin with. Try kneading the crumbly dough in the bowl a couple of minutes to see if it forms a dough without any added milk, and then add liquid a teaspoon at a time. Also, I don't think there was anything wrong with the mugs, your buns weren't especially equal in size or form. To avoid the filling to boil over, is the reason to why there's "too little" of it. You are just to spread it evenly and thinly. Also, your sugar glaze was fine with the amount of milk given in the recipe. Just mix it more next time.

Great informative video! I always see Tasty videos but is always skeptical on trying new recipes. I think it would be great if you add a clip of you cutting a fork through it or trying the finished product so we can see how the inside went.
