I had a hemorrhoidectomy. Never fully recovered anus is still very tight. I’m a body builder. Can’t go to the gym for even 3 30 minute sessions a week. Gets so tight that it’s hard to have bowel movement. I’m not constipated I’ve tried everything but this. Do you think I may have ani Levator syndrome? If so could this help me? I’m so desperate to get back in the gym and have my life back. I’ve lost so much weight and haven’t had a dating life in over a year because of how much this has wrecked my confidence and joy of life. What do I do?

@@shardulpatil9218 and @THEORYLOOPS I had surgery for this too. First, please STOP LIFTING WEIGHTS. They are making it worse bc you are straining from your core/pelvic region, and making pelvic floor muscles tighter, not looser. The best thing you can do is find a pelvic floor specialist and tell them the TIGHTNESS is the problem, NOT loose muscles. Do REVERSE kegels when you can, not kegels. You will need to learn to relax the floor through pelvic relaxation exercises given you by a specialist, thru online videos (use caution) and SWIMMING. You can build a lot of muscle thru swimming, and with no impact to recover from, as with weight training or running (I’d avoid running too as it makes the pelvic floor tighter), much much better for you. -AVOID/don’t eat spicy foods, avoid beers, eat lots of fruits, nuts and especially veggies. Avoid starches like breads or any artificial foods like candies or most fast foods. Chocolate (preferably dark) is good, but caffeinated/ acidic beverages like coffee and espresso tend to make it worse. I’m here to help if you have any questions😊 Never give up. There’s a way out. But the longer you wait the worse it gets. Avoid negativity

It's proper to treat the elevator ani syndrome doing a massage with a finger inside the anus (done by a professional) ? My kinesiologist advice me that
