I have the older Rectec Bullseye...modded it of course. Cast iron grate from Aura Layered lava rock over the diffuser plate holes which REALLY help control flare ups. I use a 9" pie pan in the center to catch dripping. Added a quick-detach hinge. Added an OnlyFire Rotisserie ring, mounted 45 deg. counter clockwise (about 2:00 o'clock) Added a side shelf on the right side as well that simply hangs on... My garage wood pellet container is a lined 55 gal 'trash' can with a lid. The plastic liner lets me close it to keep moisture from the wood pellets. I have had this almost 3 years with zero issues, and put about 200# of pellets through it a year...it makes outstanding rotisserie chicken & turkey. (Even stuffed turkey! ) Plus Great pork and everything else a grill does...like steaks, brats, hot dogs, & burgers. I can do about 16 burgers at a time comfortably on it...which I usually do 2 to 3 batches, then vacuum pack & freeze them...for quick heat & eat meals... May not be 'the best' grill, but it's a great grill. No more gas grills for me.

Thanks for watching! Sounds like an awesome setup! Where did you put the lava rock? On the diffuser or below?

This Rectec is justification for a 2nd pellet grill. There is enough difference between it and the traditional pellet grill to put it in a different category. It did a great job on those wings!

Those Bullseyes are awesome grills ... I added a Bullseye carbon steel 22" griddle to my Weber Kettle a couple of week ago and it does a damn good job making smash burgers

Love your videos. I have a 380X and I think I saw a video of you using an extender from Only Fire on the 380. Will that extender fit on my 380X? Do you have a video of it being used on the 380X?

I’ve never owned a pellet grill;just feels like cheating.😂 I joke with my friends with Traeger’s about their “easy bake ovens.” That being said, if I ever do get a pellet grill, it’ll be a RecTeq.
