This video is phenomenal. You do not cut corners in your instructions and always explain the minute details. This video has legitimately tremendously helped my understanding of the dynamics course I'm currently taking. Thank you.

Thanks for helping explain this because my professor just flew right through the chain rule in 5 minutes and it was looking really crazy with all these x dot and x double dots coming out of nowhere. This is an excellent instruction video. You clarified everything.

I'm glad it helped! You probably already saw the Dynamics playlist I have, but here it is just in case: kzbin.info/aero/PL1IHA35xY5H6G64khh8fcNkjVJDGMqrHo Good luck in your class!

Hi @TheBom_PE.....excellent videos with exhaustive but clear explanations of the concepts.... just curious which tablet and digital pen are you using for your lectures and the software...?
@TheBomPE4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I use a Fujitsu T901 with a gen 2 i7 and 16GB of ram and nvidia graphics card. It has a wacom digitizer. I do my lectures in Microsoft onenote 2007 since that is the last version of that software that had customizable toolbars. I use camtasia 9 for screen capture and editing.
@nafees19844 жыл бұрын
TheBom_PE thanks for the prompt reply. So you are using the Wacom pen. Which one?
@TheBomPE4 жыл бұрын
The branding on the one I have is called "penabled". It uses inductive coupling from the digitizer built into the screen. You have to get a computer with an active digitizer, then get a stylus that is compatible (or the computer might come with one).

Nice Videos ! Was hoping CIT ! Thinking of doing a Physics Deg. there. Wondering what I will be missing f/ ME & EE as a Physics Major. I like Machinery & Circuitry. Did EM Drafting for 13 yrs. All 4 yrs in HS I took Drafting + 2 yr Deg. AP. I hate to do Physics and never use the skill again.

Thank you so much Professor. I was wondering if this playlist "MEMT 203: Dynamics" contains the full Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics course that is taught after the course of Statics in college of Engineering.
@TheBomPE2 жыл бұрын
Yes, or very nearly. There may be a few topics that could use a bit more thorough coverage, but pretty much all of the pertinent material is covered in that playlist in some fashion. Thanks for watching!

Can you also add full length lectures on mechanical vibrations?
@TheBomPE4 жыл бұрын
Slowly but surely I'm hoping to cover a lot of topics of interest to Mechanical engineers and other disciplines. Vibrations is one of them, I'm just not sure about the timeline for it! In the meantime, here are some of my other playlists in case you haven't seen them yet and might be interested: ENGR122 (Statics & Engr Econ Intros): kzbin.info/aero/PL1IHA35xY5H52IKu6TVfFW-BDqAt_aZyg ENGR220 (Statics & Mech of Mat): kzbin.info/aero/PL1IHA35xY5H5sjfjibqn_XFFxk3-pFiaX MEMT203 (Dynamics): kzbin.info/aero/PL1IHA35xY5H6G64khh8fcNkjVJDGMqrHo MEEN361 (Adv. Are you guys still giving credit hours for watching your videos and enrolling at this institution where you teach?
@TheBomPE3 жыл бұрын
I use these videos in the classes I teach at Louisiana Tech University. This course begins on Thursday June 3.

@@TheBomPE Could I do it via KZbin to receive credits?
@TheBomPE3 жыл бұрын
@@angeley0484 You can take my courses online remotely, and you will watch the same videos I have posted to KZbin. However, you must enroll in the course(s) at Louisiana Tech to get the credit. Additionally, the videos that I have my University students watch have little quizzes embedded several places each for learning accountability.
