this is the absolute BEST i have ever heard this being played. better than John Williams even (no discredit to his version). Surely this is the best interpretation of all. I have screened through a dozen versions from various artistes. Some are really exaggerated and unreal despite being perfect. Ms Gohar's version is emotional without being too exaggerated and listening to it soothes the soul.

Hi Maestro! Just wondering whether you can do a video on how to know whether guitar sounds a lot better because one chose a higher tension string? I am always puzzled and I have not seen anyone doing a real life comparison of sounds between different tension strings on the same guitar? Thks.

@@HumbleIdeas I don't use high-tension strings. The kind of strings one uses and the way they sound is very individual and it depends on the guitar and the person's touch/technique. High tension strings don't automatically make a guitar sound better, or louder. Yes, generally, they are considered louder because you can play them harder. However, I've played guitars with high-tension strings that sound choked, meaning the string tension was too much for the guitar to handle, and that guitar sounded better with normal tension strings. You have to experiment yourself, on your guitar and with your hands to find the strings that suit you.

Ох, Го'ар, Ваше исполнение!... Как будто стоишь в нефе перед алтарём и звуки, даже не гитары, а органа, проходят через тебя... Наверное, я очень впечатлительный... Что такое на самом деле классическая гитара я понял лет 10-12 назад, когда услышал/увидел Ксюйфей Янг. Потом скачал в FHD Аранхуэзский концерт (там играл Канизарес). Потом слушал/видел (все на Ютубе), как играли Дж. Вильямс, Н. Йепес, ... Все нравятся. И раскрученная в Интернете молодежь нравится - божий одуванчик Стефани Джонс, и даже Марсин Птрзалек нравится (правда, он иногда путает гитару с барабаном). Когда увидел в меню Вашу пиктограмму... нажал просто ради интереса. И повезло! Не зря! Теперь я понял больше. Прочитал Вашу биографию на сайте... впечатляет!... Эта композиция - одна из моих любимых. Подписался на Вас (послушать мастера - дорогого стоит), с удовольствием буду ждать от Вас новых роликов. PS. А ещё я очень люблю португальскую гитару, особенно, когда играет Луиш Геррейру.
