Hi can you please recommend gym machine what i can use with Spondylolisthesis lvl 1 . Just want to lose weight and strengthen my back . Thanks a lot .
@More4Life6 күн бұрын
The vast majority of gym machines are safe to do with a Grade 1 spondylolisthesis. As far as losing weight and strengthening your back, there's no one single machine to achieve that goal. It's more a matter of proper diet and regular exercise using a combination of both aerobic and strength training exercises.

@@More4Life thanks for a reply really appreciated. I am aged 30 and was heavy lifter in my 20s spend about 8 years in gym . I think i hurt my back in gym but did’t noticed . Before 2 years turned out to be spondylitis lvl 1 and was scared to hit any training now overweight and weak. Will explore your youtube for more videos for strength exercises . Thanks a lot

Good video! would you say that in general, applying some resistance would be fine with back/stenosis issues?.
@More4Life8 ай бұрын
It's usually ok as long as the resistance is at a tolerable level. It shouldn't cause pain while doing it.

Thank you for the video and your time. I'm 4'10" do you think the bike will fit me? Also, what's the brand of the bike you're using? Thank you in advance.
@More4Life Жыл бұрын
I imagine you could probably use it at 4'10". I'm 5'3" and I use it at a setting "3", so it would probably fit if you scoot it all the way up. The brand in the video is LifeFitness. It's a commercial grade bike that's no longer in production, but here are the links I put in the description for similar versions. *Schwinn Home recumbent bike: amzn.to/3JHt9NB *Life Fitness commercial-grade recumbent bike: amzn.to/3mYZAy7

Can I do this in sciatica pain
@More4Life2 ай бұрын
Most of the time, using a recumbent bike is ok with sciatica. You might have to experiment how how close or far from the pedals feels the most comfortable. However, if it does cause you pain, stop. And either way, make sure to get the sciatic pain checked out by your doctor.

Is this good for si joint pain as well?
@More4Life6 ай бұрын
In general gentle movement is good for SI joint pain. It's still important to address the underlying causes, but recumbent bikes are OK to use with SI joint pain.

I have spinal stenosis and knee arthritis, is the bike good for both
@More4Life Жыл бұрын
Yes, the bike is good for both. (And apparently you're a mind-reader because I made a video about using it for knee arthritis which will be released soon... stay tuned for that in few days). This is a commercial grade bike, but I put links in the description above for both a home-grade and commercial-grade bike.
