Stationary bike works better as my legs are weak, numb and my feet slide out. I also have to sit so close to push the pedals that my knees just about hit my boobs 😂

I love my Schwinn Airdyne upright bike. It’s an older model with a large front wheel that makes wind while it quietly moves around. It helps keep me cool while I am biking with virtual hiking videos around the world on KZbin. Yesterday morning I biked through Grand Teton National Park 😁

I have a recumbent bike and will use that at home, but I'll try the stationary bike at the gym. Thanks for the advice!

Stationary bike benefited me more with my MS, I could use more leg power and it just felt more natural in terms of biomechanics.

Stationary bikes are definitely great to help build up muscle strength, which can aid in improved walking!

Thanks for this video Dr Gretchen I have MS but also arthritis in my hips and lower back😢 Which bike would be good for me🤔

Generally speaking, the bike that feels more comfortable for arthritis would be the seated one. With that said, it may still be uncomfortable due to lots of repetitions of your knee bending and straightening.
