I can see myself getting one of these one day ! I met a trike rider recently who was in his 70's and he told me he got it when he couldn't ride his 2 wheeler anymore due to a back problem. He was covering some big K's and looked superfit (he had no motor).

Awesome! I love hearing stories like this 💪 😃 and you're right, they are quite a workout without the motor! I've ridden both (with and without) and my legs and stomach muscles felt it, it was good!!! 😁😁

Yes riding a recumbent, it takes about 6 weeks to get your legs use to it.

@@CyclewithSerafina Limited-mobility senior handicapper here. Have been attacked and ridiculed for decades on my choosing my Delta planforms over my Tadpole planforms. Tadpole is a sports car. Delta is a minivan, station wagon, 4WD equivalent. Storable vertically on my Hase'. No "tadpole disassembly" for ANY flat tire! Most suspension directly under torso and cargo load, NOT rider's knees!!! Wheelchair, dual forearm crutch accessibility NOT SO on ANY Tadpole! YES, Delta tip-over easier, but NOT the way 95++% of riders ride!!! Mini van easier tip over than sports car. Anyone see more sports cars on roads?!?!?!

Hase recumbent NOW offers trike that instantly HUGELY shortens! Might be answer to those wanting/needing a trike, BUT.., need to use an elevator to get to their living space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
