We are all absolutely heartbroken from the news and he has left a hole in our hearts. Please can you reach out to me with any videos or pictures you have of him. Thank you again, Uncle Paul you will forever be in our hearts xxx

OMG, I don't know what to say. I also suffer from major depression, but it seemed his riding was doing him well and he was on the up and up. It sucks that the world is just so broken that it drives people into the "pit" that you described so perfectly. Hang in there Serafina, we love ya. If I could I'd give you a hug, you look like you really need one.

Ah thanks 🐺Walker 🙏 I can feel the hug through your words 💗 I'm grateful to the supportive cycling community, and Fuji, for helping me process this grief over the last few days. It's important to support each other and give life to Paul's legacy by continuing to speak up and raise awareness for mental health. Cycling is an antidepressant, and when that is taken away, we suffer. Sending hugs back 🤗💗

So sorry to hear this, 😢and a really nice tribute to do a ride in his memory, I remember the video of you trying to set off on his fully loaded bike, Your so right that Some people need a hand pulling themselves out of the darkness, Im lucky enough to be such a positive person, and im there to help my wife on a daily basis that's always suffered from depression, We are all on this journey together and we all need help along the way, Thoughts and prayers for Paul's family and friends at this sad time 🙏❤

@@andrewnorris5415 exactly! Great for shopping and getting around. One person who was driving past, stopped with his elderly father in the car, and asked about the trikes. He said they'd be perfect for his dad as it would give him the ability to go to the shops on his own, in his own time.

An enjoyable video Serafina. Oxenberry Farm is roughly a brisk 10min walk from my place. I have walked around the dam to photograph the ducks as they float in the water. Those eTukTuk look a little awkward to ride but I guess it's something one gets used to or take the easy way and have some else pedal it while sitting comfortably in the rear. It's certainly a good advertisement for the area and Shayne's business.
@CyclewithSerafinaАй бұрын
They are super easy to ride, I just made it look hard because I didn't use any electric assist initially to see if I could do it 😁 It's such a beautiful place, very peaceful and everyone is so friendly and welcoming 🚴💗🚴♀️

I discovered how hard it was to follow the C2V a few weeks ago, should have found this video earlier. The council should have made the footpaths that connect the trail clearly out of bitumen and marked it the same as the rest of the path, better signage would be good too. But overall great trail
@CyclewithSerafinaАй бұрын
I agree! It's because it runs through different councils, hence the inconsistency on many of our bike paths. Would be better if state gov took ownership of all bike paths. I'm glad you found it, it's such a fun ride down south, I call it freedom riding 😁🚴🚴♀️

Old codger here and when I raced we rode with toe clips. The new non toe clip pedals were simply referred to as clipless when they came in. I remember buying my first pair of LOOk clipless pedals and still have them. I'm not sure if you're taking the piss but thought I'd post anyway.

Hey I come also cycling in new zealand Maybe you can help me . What app do you use . How to find the backroads (country roads)
My family and I are considering a move to Australia, either to Adelaide or Melbourne. I currently work as an English teacher in Turkey, and my wife is a nurse. I’m really passionate about cycling and enjoy taking long rides, typically covering distances between 50 and 200 km in a day. I’m curious if there are additional bike paths in Adelaide beyond the ones mentioned in your video. Thanks so much for the information, and greetings from Turkey!
@CyclewithSerafina2 ай бұрын
Hi Jason 😀I haven't visited Turkey in all the places I've travelled to. What is cycling like there? Yes, there are other bike paths I haven't mentioned, I've focused on the main ones in and around Adelaide, but there are more. Road cycling is very good in and around Adelaide due to the Tour Down Under and the number of cyclists on the road. The wonderful thing about cycling in Adelaide is the Adelaide Hills, being only 10 km from the CBD, and once you are there, there are many, many options for riding. If you prefer flat, you can stick to the coast and slightly inland and ride north of Adelaide. If you are happy riding on the road, not just bike paths, you will love living in Adelaide. There's also the Fleurieu Peninsula south of the city, you won't get bored here! 😁🚴♂
@jasongxo1250Ай бұрын
@CyclewithSerafina You should definitely add Türkiye to your travel list! It offers a rich blend of history, culture, and stunning landscapes that will leave you in awe. From the bustling markets of Istanbul to the breathtaking coastlines of the Aegean and Mediterranean, there's so much to explore. Thank you for the detailed information once again. I’m getting even more excited than ever before! Best regards.

@CyclewithSerafina2 ай бұрын
Hi 👋 I don't think it's illegal, and I know many people who do, they listen to music and podcasts. I personally find it too distracting, especially riding with traffic around, but others don't have the same problem. I guess as long as you can still hear what's happening around you😊
