I think my favourite recurring Easter egg is how the main character is always called Link. It’s subtle, but it’s there if you look for it.

Yup, WW and TP are LoZ good games... I played the original WW on Gamecube, then the HD remake on the WiiU and TP on the Wii; I stopped playing after getting to Kakariko village, looking for those ethereal bugs as Wolf Link... (At the time, I was much younger and I easily gave up looking for those bugs...) (I should probably go back and finish playing TP, even though it's one of the darker Zelda games; Plus, I've watched Nintendocaprisun's playthrough of TP a few times before...)

Also in Lourule in a link between worlds there is a hinox that keeps on giving you ruppes so that you don't kill him (like the moblins that say "it's a secret to everybody ") but after you ask for too much he becomes invincible and chases you doing a ton of damage. He is found under a waterfall

@@k0ks3nw4i yeah but tbf you have to admit that it's kinda stupid that all of the scourges and Gannon can be beaten with a potlid if you're good enough. You can also bring a laddle to complete the set since some attacks cause no durability loss.

My favorite theme in Zelda is "Duality". Both Zelda 1 & 2 feature a "Second Quest". A Link to the Past features "Dark & Light Worlds". Link's Awakening features, well, _plot spoilers._ Ocarina of Time features "Past & Future". Wind Waker _almost_ features this in "Ocean & Under Ocean". Twilight Princess features "Twilight & Light". Skyward Sword features "Sky & Land". A Link Between Worlds features "Hyrule & Lorule".

Quartz is supposed to repel negative energy. And seeing how Rare/Expensive Empty Bottles are, it would make sense they are made out of Quartz given their inherent Magical Nature, some Zelda games even call them Magic Bottles. I like this idea cause it gives the easter egg some viable merit.

Though it was somewhat sidelined by the trope of using nonsensical items to "cheese" certain fights, there was another Zelda staple staring us right in the eye during that segment: the Dead Man's Volley in and of itself. I probably can't even make a full list of every Zelda boss who uses that mechanic without having to look up a wiki; there's just too many of them :P

I'm pretty sure you must have mentioned this in an Ocarina of Time- specific video in the past, but another case of an NPC saying "It's a secret to everybody." that's much easier to miss is the guard at the Hyrule Castle gate. If you talk to him the first time you visit the castle, before going to see Zelda, you can keep bothering him over and over again until he gets fed up with you asking and offers to open the gate for a bribe of 10 rupees. When you accept, he will actually open the gate and says "KEEP IT A SECRET TO EVERYBODY".

I was always more partial to the music related Easter eggs. The Ballad of the Wind Fish is still one of my favorite pieces of video game music, so when they referenced it in Majora's Mask I was geeking out, even as a child! They've referenced it a few other times since then, I think. That and the connection between the flute from Zelda 1 and Mario 3 and the song of soaring are the first two that come to mind.
