Tom Lund here. How about doing a video on natural rotation of unfletched arrows. See if your arrows with no vanes rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. Mark the unfletched arrows at twelve o’clock start close shoot 6 arrows. Move back 10 feet repeat over and over and see which way the arrows turn ,if at all. This is done with no vanes.

Cheers Tom. I had been thinking of doing this. I guess it's to see if you need Left or right hand fletches. I will give it a go.

So on my Nika ET-12 riser i hsve the NAP Flipper rest. So can i add just a plunger tension on the rear hole in my riser? By the way Andrew, I felt like it was fall looking in your background from the get-go today. Such a crisp looking beauty of a background. Im not shooting a sight so i'm just micro-tuning my arrows which r a hair stiff. Its amazing how my arrows r light but i have as much point weight up front as i can have & they r still too stiff. But my 400 spine arrows r a total of 495 grains with 270 grains up front, not 120 like the Pandarus so they might fly OK in retrospect. 😮😅

Yes a plunger can fit in the rear hole and the front has the rest bolt. Yes we are in Autumn, Has our first real frosts (only just below freezing but sunny and no wind during the day). I believe my pandarus icepoints at 700 spine are in total about 300 grain with 120grain points. I have found that heavier point are usually longer as well so the possible weakness they would give is taken by the length that stiffens the front of the arrow. I haven't tried the tungsten points yet (too bloody expensive) but they are heavier and shorter so may make more difference.

@@brookvalleylife724 I do believe in the so-called node of an arrow & if I can keep a healthy node with the rest. I want the weight up front of the node & the plunger @ the back end I think I can get ideal flight. The 19" riser with the C1 limbs I will shoot later in like August. But the N3's I'm shooting starting this week with Vegas targets. Hopefully weather & other distractions leave me alone for now b4 the insects come out.

Sounds like you have many things that are not good for your shooting. Shot a Vegas 600 yesterday at the club (Outside) 18m 40cm target and hit a 532. First scoring in about 5 years for that distance so very happy as it's only getting better.

@@brookvalleylife724 That's a good score. I'm looking to setup the 3 spot target & improve every week. Half my arrows will be 3 " & the longer ones 2" just for consistency in drag. But I believe my lightest arrow is 30 1/4" long.

@@josephtreadlightly5686 Keep me up to date with how it's going. It will be good to see how the scores go.

I really like the Shibuya DX. I have shot these buttons all my archery career and had no issues. Can I justify buying a new more expensive one??? Should I??

Which riser are you using in this video?

This is the TBOW H7. However I now have 2 bows setup, one for indoors and the other for outdoors. Outdoor setup is the new Nik'a ET-15A with Nik'a N3 Pro limbs (This thing shoots amazingly). The indoor setup is the Nik'a ET-11 riser with Nik'a N3 progress limbs.(again shoot fantastic).
