Agreed this is the definitve “soft” ssj hair imo. But I still haven’t seen a good late cell-buu saga ssj-ssj2 mate hairsculpt that I like. Air studios and some others look promising tho.

Great review! I'm arguing with my wallet as we speak about pulling the trigger on this now rather than later.. Ive got a DF Goku just screaming fo feauture this sculpt (thought it looked best, in addition to SHF's Legendary Super Saiyan). Appreciate your efforts to show us options.

This head sculpt is amazing, and capture the likeness of goku, like no other one did so far! Unfortunately for us not living in the US, the selling price is too high for just for a head and 3 face plates... They should have added at least one starring down, bloody face, for this "The historic first battle", it would have been exceptional!

I agree! And yes, for the price point and the amount of faces.. maybe not worth it. I’d also like a yelling face to add with that bloody face to… hopefully it will be available for a better price in the future 🤙🤙

Honestly would use this for a Broly display. Use the TK custom torso and ui legs plus either this or the BH Toys battle Damage Trunks along with the custom broly Gohan kit and your set

I agree that slightly lighter blue on the first Kong 3.0 ssj3 release is tough, I wish the reissue was the same color. I did not like the dark blue undershirt with the brighter belt. Do you have the black hole toys windswept ssj hairs? The really pale ones? What’s your opinion on those?

Yea, I noticed they made it darker on the reissue… the lighter colors look good. I didn’t grab those ones cause I have the first release ones.. I’ve seen pics and videos though and I’m a fan of this all pale yellow color for ssj heads now. Gives “ssj for the first time” vibes

sadly the kong skintone doesn't match as good as it does with the df. btw, do the legendary faceplates work on this headsculpt?

Very true… and no.. I mean it slides in but the face sits lower than the one that it comes with.. so doesn’t look right at all
