What about the audio output of this turn table? Is it line level or phono? In other words, does it need a phono preamplifier?

Cool video - like the camera action. What amperage should the 12v adapter be, or does that not really matter?

The turntable itself doesn't use much current. The adaptor I used was a 3 or 5amp unit but a 2a would do the job fairly comfotably.

Please advise where I can obtain a Jack as shown and will this permit for a standard USB connector?

You can buy jacks from ebay and you can be any style you like. If you wanted to buy a USB one you could but I don't see any reason to as they are not a particularly good jack.

@@kennethhanna4405 I used a cheap Chinese one purchased from ebay, the socket was a matching one again from ebay. when you order the power supply it should tell you the socket type you need.

First you look to see if there is a ground wire connected internally to one of the power ports. If there isn't, put power to the motor.. if it spins the wrong way then you change the leads over.

Pretty much any one will do, as long as it is capable of a couple of amps. Just make sure the plug matches the socket you fit to the deck!

Yes, my daughter still uses it. It isn't the best turntable in the world but it is adequate for the job of playing records.

Depends on your amplifier. It works fine with my daughters Cambridge Audio amp.
