Recycle old Ebike Batteries

I tore apart my old e bike battery to salvage and test the cells and make 2 large powerbanks out of them.

Hey Steven, Is there a charger that you could please perhaps point me to that would allow me to charge a cell of an Ebike battery (48v 25ah Samsung Cells) while in situ so I do not need to strip the cell out and all of the nickel banding? Is this even possible? I am new to the world of E-bike battery maintenance. I have a battery here (not a low budget one) that cuts out under load, I swapped the battery out with a new one and the bike works fine so i know for sure it is the Battery itself. I would like to have a go at reviving the battery, I ordered a spot welder and a few types of nickel etc just in-case I have to throw the dead cell and replace but hoping the job does not become as complicated as that. I am unsure of what charger, or chargers to use to do basic E-bike maintenance, I'm hoping to get more serious than just a hobbyist because I deal with batteries often so if I need to spend a few quid to get something that is capable of serving me well for years then I do not mind doing this, although I would rather not senselessly spend money on pro equipment if it is not essential.

Nice video. I feel that the chip inside the powerbank cases from ali gets really hot and waste a lot of energy from the battery cells. Are there powerbank cases with better and more efficient chips?

You may be right, but with 21 cells, you can afford some inefficiency

Great video steve! Can you also provide a link to the other case you're planning to use to process cells. I like the look of that one with fast charging, wireless charging and supports USB C PD too. Thanks
