I love the look of the coral stitch, I gave it a try and did okay and then the thread went loopy which was a nice look but not what I was trying for, so practice is in my future. Just a side note what I have learned from watching other KZbin channels is if a viewers doesn't watch the entire video at one time it will make a difference in the algorithms, so if I can't watch an entire video at one sitting I will often let it play anyway or I wait until I have the time to watch.
@JeriBellini4 ай бұрын
I love that you let it play! I'm trying to TIMESTAMP my videos so people can come in and out of them. Thank you for supporting me! And practice, practice, practice! oxox ♥️

Because those books don't show what to do with the stitches, not much anyway, I thought the coral stitch was just a straight stitch with a French knot at the end. But you showed me that it's much more. Your finished sample for the stitch looks like a cabbage rose and it's really pretty. Love your square wool pieces with the circles in the center. Is that the beginning of the dot a day series, or is it an off-shoot thereof? I enjoy your story time, because, and I think I've said this before, it's like hanging out with a girlfriend. Your little strawberries are adorable. I look forward to seeing your needle scroll. I've seen some people make and use needle books. I haven't gotten that far. I'm still organizing my fabrics. I always "like" your videos, even if I don't comment. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Michelle, The wool dots were started during Covid. I've always liked circles and the dots came about from following Jude Hill. She keeps things really simple and encourages lots of experimentation. Thank you for your comment and I'm glad to know you're out there, I feel the same way when I am making my videos, like I'm hanging out with a friend! 💜

Hello Jenni, the videos I’m watching about the kanwandi quilt is not a lot of people talk about the bottom fabric. The one you start on. The question is what kind of Fabric do I use. Quilt Cotton, Flannel. The one you used , the one that sew like butter, haha. I forgot the name. What do I use… please help. I’m learning from You how to make a Kanwandi quilt. Thank You.
@JeriBellini4 ай бұрын
I used cotton quilting fabric in one but I think you are referring to the quilt I made where I used wool for the backing. It's very non traditional but it does quilt like butter and I enjoy it. Have fun whatever you decide to do! It's all about experimenting and having fun! 💛

Thank you for showing how to do the stitch and what it can be used for. Your strawberries are very cute. I joined a block of the month called "Rooted" by Sue Spargo. It was suppose to take a year to complete but it took me about 2 years. I have the needles sold on her website and don't know of a good way to store them. And now the plastic tube they are stored in are falling apart. I would really like to see what you come up with! I enjoy watching your videos 😊

@JeriBellini4 ай бұрын
Oh sure Cathy, firstly, type in Kofi... and it will take you there. Simply put it's a way to support your favorite content creators for the free content they offer on YT. Creators use Ko-fi as a simple 'tip-jar' to receive donations and/or they can offer private extra things that they don't do on YT. The donation or tip, can be a once and done or it can be a monthly pledge. Hope that makes sense. I have a link in my description box, you can take a look to see what I set up. Clicking on the link won't automatically make you donate anything, but will let you take a look around. Thanks for asking!!! 💛💛💛💛💛

Hi there Jeri! i'm absolutely loving this coral stitch! it is new to me. i really appreciate how well you demonstrate the stitches for us to be able to learn it so easily. will you please tell me where to buy your fabulous felts that you made your lovely strawberries with? they are really beautiful! i "need" some!! you know how it is. i'm so excited to be joining you and everyone else on the DOT adventures! i'm buying the necessary tools to get started. i'm planning on making these DOT squares into my very FIRST quilt and i'm going to keep it for myself to use. i love your channel and am so happy to have found you through Kathryn several months ago. Jennifer Clouston now has 4 terrific embroidery books and a newish channel. i know you will appreciate her work and her artistic sensibilities. THANK YOU JERI for being yourself and for inspiring us all. take good care. linda from california

I got 2 of her books from the library, I believe it was you that told me about her originally. And I have watched her vids. The strawberries are made from dyed wool. I am going to dye some this summer and will put it in my etsy shop. I'll be sure to let everyone know. I. have a whole bolt of wool! I don't do anything in a small way! 💜
