Red Alert 2: [YR] - Death Animations

Depending on an enemy's unit weapon, an infantry unit will have a different death animation when killed by it. There are many variations which can be seen in the video. The animation applies only to infantry since all vehicles have are destroyed by the same way.
There are many different units that still cause the same death animation. A Tesla Trooper will cause the same death animation as a Tesla Tank or a Tesla Coil or even a Prism tank. There are also some details that may not have been noticed before like the unit completely disappearing when killed by Flak.

There was also an addon to the burning death animation, but it only functions on bridges. The one where the burning infantry falls off the bridge and into the water.

They had it in Tiberium sun too. Burning Infanterie which was near the shore run towards the water and die in there

Some of these death animations are legitimately terrifying. The crazy thing is, unlike Red Alert 1, Tiberian Sun and Generals, this game wasn't censored in Germany! Red Alert 2 FTW!

The most terriflying death animaation for me would be the uncensored version of Ivan's "blown to bits" animation where, as the name would suggest, blown to bits, with arms and legs going all over the place, and the Chron legioneer's death ,where he would be sucked into the backpack he's wearing, crusing bones and everything

Actually... it erase them from the time stream, meaning they are put outside Time itself. The best case scenario is that they are disintegrated in a subspace fold. The worst... well, they will spend an eternity with Yog-Sothoth

I remember one reason of why i love Soviet and Yuri. They have variety of death animations to bring the pain upon my enemy. Melt my enemy with Desolator or bring the mind-controlled enemy to the Grinder was so satisfying. I love the games that have large variations of death animation and Red Alert 2 is one of them. What did we learn today? That half of the vehicles in the game are driven by Houdini himself. Look at them conscripts vanish from the universe! Not even a trace and you don't even need a chrono legionnaire for it 95% of the time!

To be fair, though some of these deaths are quite brutal, these deaths had no blood. Back in Tiberium Dawn, Red Alert 1 and Tiberium Sun, when units were killed by gunfire, you would just see the pool of blood gushing out of the unit.

So apparently there are two types of "basic" death animations for all infantry, one triggers normally and one when blown up with some explosives, like with a Kirov, an IFV, or killed by chronosphere/iron curtains. And the "blown up" animation for premier Romanov involves the man flying into the air and literally falling flat, squashed into a pancake.

Fact: Burned Troops can fall from Bridges. Like Mirage tanks camps in Bridges while killing Conscripts crossing. And those bodies can fall to the water

Yes. I learned this in Mental Omega when I tried to flip a Super Apocalypse Tank with Libra's gravity field....and the tank fell right on top of her and killed them both. Libra herself is also immune to ALL forms of being crushed, including the Battle Fortress.
