All this talk about Carrabera diversa been the king of Marauder ants and they get there arse kicked many times against other Ants. I keep reading and seeing videos where they run off from confrontations with other ants.

They’re more prepared to face off against other insects and small invertebrates but are not great at ant warfare, the best at ant vs ant conflicts usually don’t use brute force, they use acid spray like these technomyrmex, black crazy ants also use spray and speed, Argentine ants use spray too, solenopsis fire ants use their stingers as defense depositing venom right into the enemy’s faces... most ant wars aren’t won by the side with more kills but by the most persistent, hard to catch and annoying side

carabara are like zergs from starcraft they throw in alot of weak and cheap units to overwhelm people , and carabara are no different alot of minor worker that dont do well the second the overwhelming doesnt work

The three weaknesses of Carebara are 1) Lack of Chemical weaponry in form of acidic spray, chemical spray, venomous spray etc. 2)Their respectively slower speed than other ants 3) Though big sized but weak and timid majors Their strength lies in numbers and with their huge numbers they can be quiet intimating!

@@AntsKingdomAsia I actually purchased Carabara Diversa a while back hoping for a more exciting species of Ant to keep, your correct in that the Majors are very timid, the size difference is impressive from worker to full Major, but I have seen more excitement from from my local black garden ants I'm kinda wishing I purchased Leptogenys diminuta ants now.

Leptogenys are great ants...So much drama! Non climbers but difficult to keep....they are in infact not made for captivity...they die soon.

No. In one of the oldest video, they even destroyed fire ant colony.
