The Red Baron Pizza Squadron perform in their four Stearman biplanes at the 2007 Gathering of Mustangs and Legends airshow at Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, OH. Sadly, the team has since been disbanded after their sponsorship deal was canceled.

a 450 horse Pratt and whitney motor is what makes them...when I saw them in 2003,I wasnt impressed when they flew in as the show was SO powerful,,,3 minutes later I realised these were the best part of the show.We saw the stealth B2 bomber at the end,,they are housed,all 23 at Whiteman afb in missouri...they always choose the hottest day of the year!!! I dont know how they forecast it so accurately

My dad was a mechanic for the squadron from 1998-2007 when they got shut down

I used to work at a private charter service/FBO. They came to our facility to give the local food chains bosses rides in their planes. They said if we washed their planes they would give us a ride that would be “the most fun you can have with your pants on”. They said they would do stuff with us that they normally wouldn’t do with the executives. The outside loop was crazy! Washing a biplane sucks. It’s a lot of work.
