Elderly people, people with disabilities, people who have to work, people who have to be in school, people who work or service oversea, people who are traveling, etc..... These are the types of people, who may not be able to show up in-person to vote. Therefore, mail-in-ballot is a good option for them.

Mostly white group and the question wasn't asked is if they watch FOX to get their information. A group of black voters from the same region would off-set the narrow focus seen here. This is America? This video was a non-diverse POV and the outcome after the first few minutes of scanning the audience was to be expected...sadly.

A Luntz focus group. Which means at least 3/4 of the ppl will be woefully dis or uninformed to the point of dillusion in some cases. Dillusion as in basing their past, current and future words, decisions and actions on things that either didn't happen that did or did happen that didn't while having a enormous amount of evidence to the contrary of their espousions. Frank or any person who holds a position where one of, if not THE MAIN duty of said position is to tell it like it is regardless of how much their audience wants to hear some false and disproved ideas. Journalists, news media IS NOT being biased when saying things like they are. EVEN IF by utilizing journalistic integrity you tell your readers or viewers what they don't want to hear and or cause your company to lose readers or viewers. Doing ANYTHING else but EXACTLTY that is what is TRULY biased AND A VIOLATION OF A JOURNALISTS OR NEWS MEDIAS DUTY. By saying Trump lost, by saying MANY REPUBLICANS including President Trump, were involved in a multi month, multi pronged attempt to orchestrate the overthrowing of our democracy both violent and non violent is simply the equivalent of telling your audience that the, " sky is blue. Allowing these and any ppl to spew these provenly dangerous things while saying nothing to inform them of reality is again a violation of a journalist's MAIN DUTY. NEWS MEDIA, NUTT UP OR SHUT UP.

At present elections and campaigns are not about determining or shaping the preferences of the entire population. The idea is to promote 'turn out' of sub-sets of the population than do, or can be made to, agree with you. Karl Rove was a master at picking tiny little pieces of the electorate, by census tract, and blitzing them with specific messages intended to get them to polls. A solution is to REQUIRE voting. Everybody HAS to vote. (As is already done in Australia) Maybe to satisfy John Roberts and SCOTUS there's a tax credit for voting... At that point when Nate Silver and Frank Luntz and the ilk are polling, the notion of determining "likely voters" etc goes away. We'd get real results.

There are many things need to improve regarding elections ( especially presidential and mid-term elections ). For example: They do a lot of surveys. The surveys may not represent all the people who are voting. A survey in one area may not accurate, if that area is voting for one particular candidate or one particular party. A survey of 1,500 persons may not reflect a city, a town, or a state of millions people.

What if each person filled out a paper ballad and a electronic one and if the 2 still remaining anonymous of course so if the 2 don't match up using a coded serial no.then they don't get counted and also for the mail in votes it could be the person at home sends in their paper vote and then fed into a scanner of that balad and they should match and because one is paper and one electronic any single vote either paper or electronic making it extra hard to change the vote due to it has to match up and having a code no. Along with a ballad no. That also must match the code on the ballad will not be noticed or able to read it without the QR scanner and also both of the ballots being double marked to be synonymous to each other , if someone would try to change the vote it would just make that vote void . they will have to have extra people to feed those paper ballads into the electronic scanner that code will keep those ballads confidential also and when sent through the mail it will show that the person did indeed vote and only one time so that paper one also stands as a duplicate and a receipt of proof that their mail in vote did make it to the correct place and did get cast.

Great question about what “advice” for younger generation. I think research the background of information- I look at who the reporters are, who they worked for, where funding comes from. Also if the assertions are backed by specific measurable evidence. The same goes for political candidates. Volunteer at elections and know the process first hand. Separate the conspiracy from what you stand for and are willing to make better and be accountable for the outcomes. Open mind as things advance, take wisdom from the past - but make your own choices for now that will influence your shared future.

Utah, one of the most Republican dominated states, has had universal mail in voting since 2012. For the short time I lived in UT, it was really nice. Now I have to stand in line again.
