I love Gemma's bed in front of the window. My own bed is in front of an off center window so I hung more rod on the right side of the window so I could center the bed, it works and makes my small room look bigger to have centered the bed on the longest wall facing the door.

I also like symmetry and when decorating, Sarah’s advice is always in the back of my mind. In process of decorating new house and when deciding where to put bed, I put the beds where you will see it when you walk in so it is the focus. These videos help make my week.

Love it. What happened to one of the O rings on one of the beds in the boy's bedroom? I love the girl's room, but I'm not a fan of the light fixture. I thought the chandelier would have looked nice.

I was wondering about the ring handle on the bed also. Wondered if it was a drawer, or just decorative, but it bothered me that it wasn't on both beds.

When we saw the dresser I assume the rings were decorative for reference back to the dresser, but yes I too noticed one was missing.

Just curious; did the children get ANY input (other than which room) for their designer space? I decorated my then 5 year old daughter's bedroom with what I loved and I think, 50 years later, she still hasn't forgiven me (along with some of the outfits that I 'designed' and sewed for her!!).

In the video Sarah says the girl requested those colors. Then she said they did up all bedrooms and the kids chose. Which is true is left for us to wonder. It does make me want to see the unchosen rooms.

I kinda expected more from the girls bedroom. Too safe. Kinda remind me of the safe design that was in the Master Bedroom from Season 4 of Sarah's House. But beautiful nonetheless. The little boys bedroom, amazing times a million!

How do you determine whether a pattern is considered “too mature?”

Assuming this is in regard to the children's rooms. I think it has a lot to do with the idea that the children will grow into the pattern instead of moving past it (i.e. the wallpaper becomes dated too quickly). I personally like to think it also elevates the child's sense of taste. Gives them a foundation or reference point of good taste rather than something juvenile or unsophisticated that rarely stands the test of time.

Yeah not a fan of the boys room devoid of color interest. My son would not have like that at all. All her calm talk made it sound like the kid has ADHD and they can't over stimulate him.

Sara I admire your work. When i say admire u can read like worship, cause every time u design a room, it seems like u have transported to another place. I would also be amazed by seeing these rooms ,But I don't understand why u have to put wallpaper in every room. It was already freshly coated with neutral colors. And the client is not afraid of color. And Then again why did even print the elephant and the lion in black and white. you stick to almost black and white theme in sam's room. I just want to understand.
