One more comment, I LOVE the trick of offsetting a basin tap. Imagine that, it means you won't hit your head on it when bending down to cup water to wash your face. I never thought to do that! I love it!

Wowza!! The art and the green accents and the TV placement are all so good. And, I love the contrast of the quirkier and more colorful powder room. Seeing them together makes each even better the way the spaces play off each other! Hard to wait for this reveal but, oh, so worth it!!

Love it! The huge sofa, the TV off to the side, the wonderful photographs but the pièce de résistance is the look through window into the family room that allows you to see the fireplace from the front door. You pointed that out in the very first video and I loved that feature!

Love this room, love this home. If I had one complaint (only one allowed - haha) it would be that the inside of the fireplace is distracting. It will look better with a fire in it. Maybe a pretty screen in front of it?

Why is the towel bar in the powder room a different finish from the other metal - silver vs. brass? Sarah has frequently talked about keeping the finishes the same within a room so it feels jarring here. It's a missed opportunity to not include the towel bar when you were having the kitchen hardware replated.

Sarah did nothing. It was done by the homeowner before she arrived on the scene. She cemented over something. I think you can find the chat in the initial walk through of this home.

for god's sake do something about that mantle surround. the soot staining is so distracting. paint it dark grey or some other color that hides the smoke/soot. the prehistoric/brutalist motif really doesn't work. this house had such a depressive air and the fireplace is a sad reminder. otherwise it's a great room
