Meh... It's cool to see girls riding bikes - but the amount of coverage and prizes they get compared to their skills is just pathetic. I mean if girls get all these goodies so why don't we provide same stuff for guys and higher prizes. It's just unfair when guys literally risk their lives and don't get anything more than girls that ride easy routes.
@sportysbusiness3 ай бұрын
@@arude2397 I think you are missing the point. The girls are not as big, strong, or capable as the guys. I am a female athlete and happy to admit that the best women will never beat the best men, and that's OK, women are not men. But the best women should get the same as the best men as they are risking their lives on dangerous (not easy) routes FOR WOMEN.

The GoPro POV really shows how freakin gnarly this is. The exposure is crazy and hitting all those features blind, it´s insane. So much respect to the riders, kinda would´ve like a second run, but I totally understand, that they didn´t wanna take the risk twice. I think we´re gonna see so much progession in the next years, the sky is the limit!

This is a joke right? Just as worthy as the boys? Have you SEEN the normal rampage ?? It's sad that people are so desperate for "girl power" that everyone eats up even the most boring rides just because its a girl riding ☠️ ffs, I see more exciting runs from women's DH..literally...
@ArcheanZircon3 ай бұрын
@@jakelesnake I mean this is basically what the original rampage was when it started. It'll progress over the years. Also, no one is saying the women are better than the men. Women want to see women riding at the top of our limit.
@jakelesnake3 ай бұрын
@@ArcheanZircon I didn't say they said it was "better than the men's" I'm saying it's not even "worthy of the boys" and yes I agree that's where it all started...very humble beginnings.....women TODAY should realize the level this sport is at and what rampage actually is instead of having people rely on girl power and saying it resembles what it used to be WAYYYY back in the day, because that's apparently they only way to accept this women's version as good. Sorry if I don't enjoy lowering standards just to cheer on girls, I'd rather then actually GET GOOD and then go to rampage when they are actually worthy of it. And before you say "how will they ever progress, they have to start somewhere" tell that to all the new riders in the men's league that never did rampage before and are still pushing the limits their first time going. Maybe making excuses for the girls is what holds them back from pushing themselves or maybe we should just accept the fact that these women aren't at that level yet and need to get better before going to top tier events, rather than separating and watering down the event just to accommodate their lack of talent
@CalQaida3 ай бұрын
@ausoff-road7795 that Rampage was a joke. One run each, not pushing at all, no tricks, other than Goomes throwing down two backflips. Well done.
