Simply the most incredible mind blowing stunt I've ever witnessed. Anyone contemplating existence should watch this

I knew someone was going to pair this song (best song ever) with this jump (best anything ever). It's a match made in heaven! Literally! Thanks!

c'mon give this guy some credit. this isn't something that just ANYONE could do, it takes a real special person. this guy might not be a "hero" but he is definitely a superior role model.

I would be nervous sky diving at a regular hight. This guys balls of steel helped him fall faster than the speed of sound.

for me, the greatest hero of this century...

just awesome!! the guy is a legend and he should be worshipped for that sheer display of awesomness, space or not, science or publicity, or even just for fun...who actually cares?! what he did was brave, stupid but overall amazing!!!. ........just one question........,. please can i have a turn now NASA?

It wasn't "space", it was the stratosphere. It's not being negative, it's called being factual.
@whiteb01111 жыл бұрын
Hero? I wouldn't see him as a hero at all. Many people could do that... A true hero is like one who risks his own life for a strangers and doesn't think twice. That is a hero, this is just cool.

Technically, not even the ISS orbits through space but the thermosphere, below the exosphere and the only people who went into space were the Apollo program astronauts. Does this make Baumgartner's jump less awesome?

@saminisam1 He was on the edge of space, hence the "Mission to the edge of space" on the website. @Hashem AL-Hashemi Love that comment hahaha.
@MegaRooster10011 жыл бұрын
He meant He wasn't in space. He was only at the edge of it. If he was in Space. He wouldn't have fallen towards earth. Before Assuming thoughts, Hey. think again.

Well technically he wasnt in space, he was still in the upper atmosphere..

Also, by that logic someone who saves his whole squad by diving on a grenade isn't a hero because I would do the same thing.

He but how is he different than anyone else in his situation? Someone else could have done what he did. If he had not done it then he would be replaced. But like my other situation if you replaced the hero with someone else, most likely he wouldn't be a hero anymore.
@saminisam112 жыл бұрын
he was not in space
@sergiobasilioli38411 жыл бұрын
why didn't he burn up?
@begeura12 жыл бұрын
It was to build newer safer space suites, the same could be said about the 60's when the other guy jumped but now his suit is used by every astronaut. sure it was sponsored could you afford a 210million dollar experiment?

what a publicity stunt...look at all the sponship. This wasn't for science - it was done 50 years ago for science. Pure publicity
