I think if she had incorporated it elsewhere it would have been ore cohesive. Like, if she had made it a halter and used the same material as the straps, and maybe added a banded waist, it would have looked more cohesive and not like she just tacked some mismatched material to the back.

I feel like the blue panels wouldve worked better if it was used as a cape instead of just like a train (or a diff color altogether? Idk) And maybe have the plain red dress as a front and back skirt panel with high slits on both sides with the mini dress peaking out from under the plainer fabric. Just so it'd make the combination more seamless looking...

Yeah the MET gala is high art fashion that would literally not even be appropriate at any other red carpets. Unless you're Gaga or a Gaga like human. They should seriously Redo Met Gala. It would be so much fun to see them do a Camp look or try to do a Catholic inspired look. It basically would have been really fun if they would have understand that the Met gala has themes and done the looks within one of the real themes. This was definitely a failed DIY for the challenge at hand.

I did this for my prom! I found a brand new wedding dress that was a few sizes too big and not quite what I wanted, but it was only $15. My boyfriend bought it for me, and my aunt and I took it in and made some modifications and I absolutely loved it ❤️ This is such a great video/ series that you guys have done.
