I watched the full sermon when it recently came out. It's excellent! I just watched this 9 minute highlight. It's so good! I just shared it with a Christian friend. Everyone: we are entering VERY dark days for America, and the world. Stay close to Almighty God in His Word daily, in prayer, and in Godly sermons and teachings. God is using Pastor Mark mightily. May God protect Pastor Mark, his marriage, his family, his ministry.

1 Maccabees and 2 Maccabees were included in all Bibles until the 1600s. Are we really to believe that God withheld the 'true' Bible from humanity for 1,600 years after Christ’s death? It’s fascinating how these positions seem poorly considered. So, are we supposed to believe that God only decided to provide the 'correct' version 1,600 years later? Quite a curious stance on 'things God didn’t say.'

My husband and I were just talking about Red Dawn a couple evenings again. We said this couldn't happen in our current times, 'cause there aren't enough teenagers/young people capable or willing to pull off something like this. So sad.

The books to which Pastor Mark refers, the apocrypha, were in the King James Bible up until 1611 as inspired. Men removed them. The holiday which is celebrated when the Maccabees dedicated the Temple, Channukah, is reference in the book of John when it said that it was winter and Jesus went to the Temple to celebrate, “dedication”. The Hebrew word for dedication is Channukah. Do not take my word for it though. Do your own research.

I believe in unity because if we're divided we all fall and truthfully this is all for the children the innocent. Thanks for showing me this though. No one should be harming anyone. We should just look out for the children and Honor Yeshua Meshiac King of kings of Nazareth the best we can We should all be vigilant and pay attention to our children. it's important and we need to be praying for peace for Israel and everywhere. Ask for mercy express humility for him and hope for grace. I follow my commandments. This is what the people have done to people for generations. I'm personally just wishing we could all get forgiveness unless they harm the innocent and people who keep him in their heads and hearts. Sometimes ppl get lost in their head fixated with appreciation for Jesus and feel like there's no one to talk too. Especially without paying people donations and stuff while the world is already suffering enough and many ppl have already lost everything they have. Even their last breaths and it's pretty sad I would just want peace and unity with everyone. people perverse scripture too much and it's tiring. We should be praying for Israel and all the innocent.

I've learned it's easier to hand a stone with nutrients in but sometimes you need to skip the stones to awaken their Bethesda but the pool of Bethesda was false gods they worship.

Some times ppl worship a pool of Bethesda and only Jesus knows if it's best to skip stones in it or just come to them personally and try and heal them with grace and accepting them with open hands I learned it's not always good to skip stones in that pool and in these days you really can't hand ppl stones either you just half to be vigilant and stay away from drugs and suicidal thoughts Incase someone was to come up missing.

I find it odd that anyone assumes that God would let people have the "wrong" books for a protracted period of time, be it 1600 years or the reverse of 400. I feel the same way about the Book of Mormon (you really think God let things run for 1830 years before revealing the "True" religion, or Islam (600 years), or Jehovah witnesses horrid translation (1870). The bible really isn't a book, its a library of books. I personally believe that if you follow the spirt, and properly test the spirits while you read anything, the Holy Spirit will point out where things are correct, and where they are wrong. I have a very hard time believing that Gods people missed his full revelation for the last 400 years. I find it easier to believe that God relied on the spirits direction when the wrong books were included, than the other way around.

@@shaunclarkson7131 The only problem with being led by the Spirit, the methodists think they are lead by the Spirit and marry homosexuals in their churches. Some other protestants led by the Spirit think they should vote for abortion rights so women have rights. There are plenty of people led by the Spirit who think they need to get rich. There are so many examples of where it's helpful to have a church and elders who can help with discernment.

@@Throwaway-x9e I would say the key word you used in your comment is "think". They think they are being lead by the spirt, but they are not. When your listening to the wrong spirit, well your going to end up in bad places. On the "real" Bible issue, I don't think there is any other way to deal with controversial books that have been excluded in the past, other than maybe just staying away from them in general. As I said, God would not let his "real" book be corrupted, and you certainly don't need the all the books to cover the core teachings. Sure you end up being a bit child like and unarmed, but not wrong. And lets be honest, everyone is a bit child like and unarmed on certain topics regardless of what we have read.

I'm not Catholic, but I feel like Mark Driscoll throws a lot of shade at other denominations, and it's not necessary. In this day and age, we need Christians from all denominations to stand together. Let the petty stuff go, pastor. Be a unifier, not a divider.
