I wish a new weapon for bounty hunter is something like gasses like toxic moonshine except it’s a sedative and on bounties it will put them to sleep and won’t count as killing them and on players it will sway their screen and black out their screen and if they stay in it for too long their character passes out but they don’t die they can either wait 30 seconds or give up the ghost (edit) and the crafting recipe could be moonshine 22,sedative ammo (requires fire to cook)

I also agree. It seems the community has better ideas than Rockstar these days with Red Dead Online. Before the release of the Bounty Hunter expansion, I thought they were going to implement upgrades such as what you mentioned, but they mostly were just cosmetic upgrades. That would have been a really helpful and useful upgrade and would have made the prestigious bounty hunter license just a little bit more worth it.

Also i think the reinforced lasso got buffed because i didnt see a single person who could escape it in this new update. I could literally tie up 6 bounties each meters away from each other and some almost escaped but i managed to catch them up too, the ones i first tied up literally couldnt escape the lasso which is weird cuz before the update when u tie a bounty and go far away enough he directly gets rid of the lasso and starts running

If you havent bought yet the regular hunter's license the prestigious one will cost 30 gold but if you bought the reg one already the prestigious upgrade will cost half the price or just 15 gold.

It’s been awhile since I bought the bounty hunter wagon myself, but if you are forced to pay gold for it, I would recommend saving your gold. I definitely would recommend getting the bounty hunter wagon eventually, but for maximizing earnings, this is my recommendation. I would recommend purchasing all the other roles first and focusing on the upgrades for the Trader role and moonshiner roles first, since they are passive producing roles. Meaning you make money automatically, only having to secure a sale to receive cash. Again, this is only my recommendation for the purpose of maximizing your earnings in game. This way, you can bounty hunt while your Trader role and moonshiner roles produce. I hope this helps!

Bottom line, if you have gold to blow and ALL other professions are unlocked then sure get it, if you have to choose this or if say you haven’t got moonshine role and have enough to only buy 1 or the other, then get moonshine or naturalist etc. personally I just came back after over a year, when I played I had like 2-3 month streak of dailies and did a lot of bounties, I was sitting on 70 gold and I have all the roles and some of the best horses etc. so sure I got it

You don’t get the levels instantly, you have to participate in bounty hunter missions at the bounty boards to earn role xp. From there you will level up the role levels and acquire the unlocks tied to each role level. Essentially, purchasing any role license just gives you the ability to earn role xp to level up role levels and get the unlocks. I hope this made sense. Once you purchase the prestigious bounty hunter license, you should be able to start leveling up immediately. It’s 15 gold. So if you bought the regular bounty hunter license and prestigious bounty hunter license, it would cost 30 gold bars in total. The prestigious bounty Hunter missions are to the right of the bounty poster. When you enter them, you often get a black screen. If you see a poster advertising the prestigious bounty missions on one of the posters on the right of the bounty board, then you’ll know that you didn’t purchase the prestigious bounty hunter license yet. You’ll see me purchase it at the beginning of the video. If you are still having issues, I would contact Rockstar Support to see if they can help. I hope this helps!

For a low level player it's better for me to spend my gold on the moonshiner role then this non sense. If they didn't nerf the daily challenge I maybe would have bought it cuz I can get my gold back easily

Honesty, the smarter choice is the moonshiner role. Even smarter, Trader role before that. Why, the Trader role is actually linked to the moonshiner role and unless you have a friend to do a Trader sale with, you can’t get started with the moonshiner role unless you completed a Trader sell or are role level five in your own Trader role. Other main reason is that both the Trader and moonshiner roles create passive income and are the only roles to do this so far. Essentially, you can bounty hunt, collect, and gather samples for the Naturalist Role, while the Trader role and moonshiner roles produce your product, which you can then sell and earn more profits. As far as the bounty hunter role being the only role you earn gold from directly, meaning without the help of daily challenges that are linked to the role, it’s such an insignificant amount that to sustain yourself solely on the bounty hunter role for gold would be such a tiresome grind.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. The idea of the moonshiner role being purchased second and above all at the least purchased at some point is to maximize your profits as much as possible. Due to it being a passive role, you generate income automatically, only having to perform a 4-5 minute sale to seal the deal. Skipping out on this role will for sure decrease earnings.

The 10 bars I am assuming you are seeing is for the regular bounty hunter license. This usually retails for 15 gold bars but is on discount this week. The Prestigious Bounty Hunter License can only be purchased once the regular bounty hunter license is bought and also cost 15 gold bars. In total, both licenses cost 30 gold bars. This week however, due to the discount on the regular license, buying both would only cost 25. I hope this helps! The biggest differences between the two licenses are the following: 1. Infamous bounty missions available with only the Prestigious License. 2. Some legendary bounty missions being only available through the Prestigious License, there is currently only one. 3. An award that allows you to trade in bounty hunter 10,000 role xp for some cash and gold, once you reach Role level 30 with the bounty hunter license. Which also can only be achieved through the Prestigious license.

For the first few missions I did, I didn’t receive any gold, which you are supposed to for all bounty hunter missions. The game was bugged for me at the time because once I closed my application and restarted it, I was receiving gold for the missions again.

Technically speaking, in the long run, not really. There are a few additional legendary bounties that are available only to Prestigious licensed members, as well as infamous bounties, which appear to have a one time bonus for completing them. You also have the option to reset a bounty award every 10,000 Bounty role xp earned. This will earn you 0.5 gold and $100.00. This can only be done once you maxed out all 30 bounty hunter role levels though. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, the timer would still be active for both players. The same goes for the New Blood Money Opportunities. Even if you had a posse started with your friend, completed an opportunity with that friend and then switched where your friend was the posse leader, the timer would still be active for all players who recently participated in the opportunity. At this point in Red Dead Online, it doesn’t look like there will be anymore big updates that will cost a lot of gold unfortunately. I recommend investing in all the other roles first before this one.

It really depends on how long the bounty mission goes for. I believe you have to spend around 10 minutes in a bounty mission to earn the full amount.

The dollar signs at the top of each poster indicate how much money you will receive for the mission. The poster with one dollar sign $, which is to the very left of the board pays the least. The middle poster with two dollar signs $$, pays a bit more. The poster to the right with three dollar signs $$$, pays the most. This is also supposed to indicate difficulty, like easy $, medium $$, and hard $$$, but from my experience, this doesn’t always seem to be the case. I would also say by waiting for the timer to get close to running down on either difficulty will also help you earn more. You also have infamous bounty hunter missions. These can only be played if you own the prestigious bounty hunter license. Infamous bounty hunter missions are found on the right side of the board where the hard missions $$$ are found. Infamous bounty hunter missions all have three missions to them. on the third mission, you will earn a-lot more than any freemode bounty hunter mission. I would recommend playing these missions when bounty hunting in freemode. You also have legendary bounty hunter missions. These take place outside of freemode.Ten come with the regular bounty hunter license and three with the prestigious bounty hunter license. These are the best to play as you will earn the most. There are five difficulties to each legendary bounty hunter mission, difficulty five paying the most. You can only replay a legendary bounty hunter mission every 48 minutes or an hour.

Hello! So you can earn more gold specially through the prestigious bounty hunter license. I believe it’s every 10,000 bounty hunter role xp earned, but don’t quote me on this, because it’s been a little while since I checked. If you pause your game, press progress, awards, and then bounty hunter awards, you should see an award you can reset every so much bounty hunter role xp you earn. Again, I think it’s 10,000 role xp, but not 100% sure. Every time you reset the award you should earn 0.50 gold. I am pretty sure of this amount.This is also besides the gold earned by completing freemode bounty hunter missions and legendary bounty hunter missions, earned from both bounty Hunter licenses. If you have enough gold bars to do so, then yes. You may need to max out the levels for the regular license first, although this is something I am not 100% sure of. I would go to a bounty board and see if the option is there. If it’s grayed out, it’s likely that you have to max out the regular license first.

Directly, I would say no. Yes you do earn gold with this role, but it is very little and would take quite some time to regain the full 15 gold bars. What I am interested in is how much gold and cash you can earn from trading in Bounty Hunter Role xp, once you max the role out. Although I’ll be surprised if it’s anything significant.

Only differences are really the infamous bounty missions, 3 additional legendary bounty missions, and the ability to reset a bounty hunter award after reaching role rank 30. Daily challenges are the way to go for earning gold. Specifically having a streak. Unfortunately, Rockstar have decreased the amount of gold you can earn off of them, but they are still worth doing. Also, if you are concerned with maximizing your earnings, I recommend buying the roles in the following order: Trader role, moonshiner role, collector role, Naturalist role, Bounty Hunter role. Again, just my recommendation.

The last five minutes of the video discuss this question in detail. Personally, I do not believe it is worth it. However, I am still doing some further testing to see just how much can be earned, or rather how to maximize earnings. Even with maximized earnings, I still will find it hard to believe that it will be anything significant. As far has how to level up the role the fastest, legendary bounties are the way to go. They are challenging and can only be done every hour, but if you can master one or two of them and keep repeating those one or two, that will be the quickest you can max out the role. I would also recommend that the legendary bounty that you choose you should progress to difficulty 5 so that you earn the most you possibly can.

Personally, as someone who focuses on maximizing profit, I wouldn’t recommend buying the regular bounty hunter license or prestigious bounty hunter license, until all other roles have been purchased. For example, the trader role produces passive income. Essentially, you can bounty hunt while your trader role produces, as long as the supplies and animal materials are operational. The moonshiner role also works in a similar way. The collector role is arguably the most profitable and you can collect while the trader role and moonshiner role produces. You can also gather samples from animals while collecting also. The best way to earn gold is with daily challenges. Unfortunately, Rockstar cut the amount of gold you can earn with daily challenges in the bounty hunter expansion DLC. Nonetheless, daily challenges and a streak is still the best way to earn gold in red dead online, arguably even more so than the gold you earn with the bounty hunter role. I hope this helps! This is something I am not sure about, but if you don’t have all 20 role levels maxed out for the regular license, the game may not let you purchase the Prestigious License yet. Keep in mind, I am not 100% sure about this, since I purchased the Prestigious License well after I maxed out the regular license.

Any outfits that are locked to role levels 21 - 30 are tied to the prestigious bounty hunter license, so in that case, you would have to upgrade licenses.

So the ten roles are achieved by earning bounty Hunter role xp. When you go into the progress section of the pause menu, roles, then bounty Hunter, you should notice there are 30 roles available. 20 from the regular bounty hunter license and 10 from the prestigious. You then earn the unlocks from these levels by earning bounty Hunter xp. This is done by completing any bounty Hunter mission on the board, including infamous bounties and legendary bounties. Legendary bounties earning you the most cash, gold, and xp. I hope this helps!

I would definitely recommend the Moonshiner over this. I recommend the Trader first, you need that role before you can get the Moonshiner and it’s mostly passive. Second the Moonshiner role, then the Collector Role. At this point you could get the naturalist role, so you could collect animal samples while you are collecting and waiting for your Trader and Moonshiner Businesses to fill up, but you might be over working yourself. At this point if you want to bypass that role, then get the bounty hunter license, that way you can earn gold from doing bounty Hunter missions, since this is the only role that pays gold. These are my recommendations based on my experience. I hope this helps!!!

Bounty Hunting can be fun! I definitely think the Prestigious Bounty Hunting Pass is worth investing in eventually. My review was more from a strategic/logical point of view. If you consider how hard it is to come across gold now with the Daily Challenges Nerf, I would invest gold elsewhere at first to increase earnings. For example, the Trader and Moonshiner roles are passive, so getting those first is beneficial. That way when you do get the bounty hunter licenses, you can produce cash passively and bounty hunt at the same time. On top of that, you do earn gold with the bounty hunter license, which is awesome! However, to really maximize gold earnings, you need to complete the legendary bounty missions, which are some of the hardest missions in online and definitely not beginner friendly. I do agree though, bounty hunting definitely can be fun, especially when it comes to the same old sell missions for the Moonshiner and Trader Businesses!

The ten ranks you get when you purchase the prestigious license can be found in the progress section of the pause menu, roles, then bounty hunter. You should find the ten tanks there. They are role ranks 20-30. KEEP IN MIND, you don’t actually get the ranks or rather the unlocks that come with each rank when you purchase the license. You have to progress through the ranks by completing bounty hunter missions and earning rank xp to get the unlocks with each level. I hope this helps! The Prestigious Bounty Hunter License can be purchased after the regular license is purchased and also costs 15 gold bars (without a discount). Unless you have a special benefit from Rockstar, which I have not heard of at this point, that’s how they are acquired. I hope this answers your question!

If you are taking about the prestigious license, you get ten role ranks with this license, they are found under roles in the progress section of the pause menu. You have to level them up by completing bounty hunting missions, whether that be free mode bounties, infamous bounties, or legendary bounties. You also have to purchase the regular bounty hunter license before you can purchase the prestigious license. The regular license gives you 20 role levels. Typically the Treasure maps you receive from leveling up get sent to a lockbox. This means they can be collected from a post office or your camp lock box. Sometimes if you choose the “Collect all” option at the post office or camp lock box, you may be collecting them without realizing. Again, that is just a possibility, you may already know this. The Treasure maps can then be found in the documents section of your satchel. I hope this helps in some way!

I see. By the looks of it that may be the progress you had from the regular license, where you get (role levels 1-20). Keep in mind, you don’t actually get Free levels in that they are just automatically progressed for you. The prestigious license unlocks levels (21 - 30) , but you still have to progress them. Unlocking them just means you can start progressing through them. This is done by completing free mode bounty missions, infamous bounty missions, and Legendary bounty missions. All of these give you role xp to progress through the levels. I hope I’m understanding you correctly.

The pass itself does last forever as in you will never have to purchase the bounty hunter license(s) again. There are a total of two licenses for the the bounty hunter role, the regular bounty hunter license and prestigious bounty hunter license (both cost 15 gold bars). The bonus cash and gold you receive for every 10,000 bounty hunter role xp earned after all 30 roles levels are maxed out from both the regular bounty hunter license and prestigious bounty hunter license also does persist.
