If the statue order confused you, click on the statues that have the following numbers of fingers still intact: 2 fingers, 3 fingers, 5 fingers and one statue with no arm for last. Follow this order.

13:00 ignore the statues fingers, activate the statue in front of the stonebird first, then go one statue to the left, then two statues left and then two statues left again and click its open. If anything goes wrong, just "undo" the pushing by pushing the knobs on the backside of the statues and then start over again

Just found out that you can do this a second time to get another 3 gold bars from the first two locations after the world loot resets at the start of the Epilogue: Chapter One. Note: The last location (statues) doesn't reset though, so you can't reloot the last location. Enjoy!

With this in mind, It baffles me that you cant change outcome of the story regardless how much you contribute to Camp. A starter tip for those that just bought the game in october 2023... to unlock the fence and the trapper just go to Valentine at the start of chapter 2, Train station- take the train to St Denis. Ull be able to sell all valuables, including looted ones

Instead of Van Horn, you could've went to Emerald Ranch, which is a lot closer and they have a Fence there as well. I ended up getting a Stranger mission, had to take an old lady who fell off her horse to Emerald Ranch and found it to be way closer, awesome vid none the less

That first one has a clitch that you can duplicated it: Pause and save at the exact time Arthur touches the gold bar. Save. Load. Get the gold bar. Close the box. Open the box. Close the box. Save. Load. If it worked, there should be another gold bar outside of the box. It is said that you can do this more time after reloading a bouch of times.. I didnt try.

You ought to head up and go to the meteorite house, just barely NE of the railroad when you divert south. Quick trip, nice vista, get the meteorite, then head south.

really helps get a start on the hunting if you want some cool outfits or to do the challenges, can't even finish hunting challenge 1 that started in the prolouge skinning the dear because even for that you need a proper rifle. If you play the 'normal' way you won't have money for a hunting rifle or varmint rifle for a good bit. Stuck with repeater for awhile which is used for almost nothing except for coyotes i think and sheep. Very limited weapon for animals. Most require a proper rifle and the varmit rifle for everything else bigger than a squirrel. This is obviously for even new players to date obviously this video is years old now and everyone else already knows about the weapon unlocks.

Probably a stupid question, but is there any reason - as far as game play goes - to go get the treasure maps?

Thanks for that, just got the game, ain't got much idea what I'm doing (at the moment) - so this really helped me get 3K..it's nighttime now, saying stagecoach unavailable at this point in time.. Gunna have to find out what to do next... Ah, just worked it out, get off the horse... Looking like a great game so far(.. Bit different to Ghost of Tsushima I just finished.. well, platinumed it cos I loved that damn game so much) - Thanks again for the help, time to spend this cash, yeay!!! Edit.. Loved this game so much I hit 100% completion on August 12th!!--saved at 99.9% so I rewatch the final beautiful cutscene anytime I please... Best game ever!!!
