The reason the horse keeps knocking you off is because you need to press the square button to calm it while you're on its back. Also just a tip, Instead of waiting on the bottom right corner to tell you when to press "calm", just continue to press it rapidly. It's way easier not having to think about pressing it at the right time because you're always pressing it. This also helps in the process of approaching the horse.

One of the statues with 4 fingers is missing an arm, which you can find on the floor in the cave. The arm has three fingers. The idea is to press the buttons on the statues with prime numbers - that’s 2, 3, 5, and 7. Head around the room and press the buttons in for the prime number statues and the statue in the middle of the room should open up, offering you three gold bars for your trouble. If you happen to make a mistake at any point, you can pop around to the back of a statue and press the button again to reset it.

2 questions and advice. Question: I killed the fence in Emerald Ranch, will he respawn? Question 2: Is it bad if I sell Jimmy Brooks' pen? Advice: When going through a heavily wooded area, don't touch the movement sticks, just hit A and the horse's AI should manoeuver you through the trees. This ability gets better with each level of horse bonding.
