Tbh, with the fact that it's like 14 years old, a good portion of their audience may not have actually played it, and while it makes me feel old, a non-insignificant percent of that audience probably wasn't even alive when it came out either. I remember playing it in middle school, but even then it's a game I haven't played all the way through in like over 10 years. It historically has not ran particularly well, so I don't blame people who didn't play it way back when for not wanting to jump into it after the fact.

Moreover, both VCS and LCS were designed with the PSP in mind, and they had to reduce the number of cinematic cutscenes in order to make the games fit on the 1.87GB UMD disc.
