De Santa, Reyes; all the same! They just want Armadillo rail rides.” ”The Southwestern Railroad Company is just a front for the Jews to run the country, ya know?”

@sobriquet50163 жыл бұрын
Same, do you know the name of any of these songs? Or what are some similar songs to start learning? Thanks
@basedbattledroid35073 жыл бұрын
@@sobriquet5016 sorry, I'm not familiar with any of these songs, not sure if they're actual old ragtime songs or if they were just composed for the game either. Ragtime can be a bit complex for beginners because of the techniques like stride playing, but just play them slowly until you've got the movements and patterns downpat and then you can gradually speed it up, learning any piece in piano is all about muscle memory, as in you repeat it so many times that your hands can play it almost automatically without needing to concentrate on it. Scott Joplin songs are a good start for most newcomers to Ragtime, my first Ragtime song was The Entertainer, which is a pretty good one, it sounds complex when you listen to it but it's pretty easy to play once you've become familiar with the patterns, and The Maple Leaf Rag is another good one for beginners. Solace is considered to be one of the more complicated ragtime pieces, also by Scott Joplin, and ironically it's the exact opposite of The Entertainer, because it's meant to be played slowly and it sounds kind of simple but it's a lot trickier to play than it sounds. It's also a very long song. I hope that advice was somewhat helpful, I'm not a piano teacher, so I can only recommend pieces to learn, but I would probably recommend seeing a piano teacher if you can afford it, because when you're practicing by yourself you can sometimes make mistakes without noticing and a good teacher will be able to point out these mistakes and teach you the best way to practice at home, good luck with the ragtime pieces though!
@sobriquet50163 жыл бұрын
@@basedbattledroid3507 Hey thanks so much! I am a massive Scott Joplin fan and I completely agree. I can play a simplified arrangement of the Entertainer but Maple Leaf Rag is still out of my playing ability! Congratulations to you on playing some of the finest rag times. These tunes from Red Dead are still some of the finest and I have located at least 1 of the piece's sheet music online that someone constructed. Wish there were more. You're right in that it appears they were written just for the game and don't have actual names.
