Red Dragon forward controls BASE version installation - Rebel 500

Anyone who is tired of sore ankles needs this product. Just put these forward controls on my '22 Rebel 500 abs se. All parts are sturdy and precise. Instructions included. Shipping was fast, about a week to Tn. USA . Forward 5 inches, down about an inch and each side an inch wider. The bike feels so natural now, cornering is more confident because I feel more stable. I stop at a light and just drop my feet. No longer have to swing my legs in an awkward position to avoid the foot pegs. I give this product 5 stars in every category.

I recently ordered this product for my 2023 Honda Rebel 300. It required some ingenuity to figure out the installation as what I received in my box is quite different from the videos available online for instructions! Additionally one of the long bolts has no kex head cut into it and the only way I could complete the install of the brackets was to use vise grips on the head! My kit came with 4 thick spacers which appear in none of the videos so I had to guess where the were meant to go...? Also the rear most end of the shifter extension rod bolt is rubbing very slightly on the inside of the Red Dragon Brackets. Time to update the installation video guys!

@@phucnikon Email checked and answered but the link in the paperwork wanted me to give a credit card info and email to some app which I have no interest in. Please just post a video, not ask me to download an app or buy something else to find out how to install the product I already paid for? Hardware/Plates I have are completely different from those on every video on KZbin. No video shows the thick spacers or where they go. Also linkage bolt rubs on left side plate and one of the longer Hex bolts has a smooth head, No Hex in the bolt so I had to tighten it with Vise grips.🤔

Can you still install frame sliders in the front? Or does the kit come in the way?

This FW control kit fits most of engine guard, belly pans.... But I'm not sure which frame sliders you mentioned. Better please send me some photos of your bike to [e-mail] I will update you the information

Isnt the stock arm and rod shifter peice on a splined shaft? Does it have to go back on the same spot or different for the new set? Thanks
