When I removed the paint it did improve the grip quite a lot.

Another cool video. As a English guy I had to laugh to myself when you said you had been watching the premiere league iv never heard a American pronunciation of premier 😂 can you imagine reviewing only Peter weight darts you would never be out of content 😂

Really nice set of darts in this video. I would probably have to strip the paint personally. The stock points are too short for sure. Great review!

Great as usual. You wanted to break out the acetone? Isn't that the Italian version of Jane Fonda's 'Buns of Steel ' video? Think about it 🤣 I like the fusion flights. The yellow looks like it's lit up. Probably because of total internal reflection due to the width of the flight wings. Really looks cool in lower lighting situations.👍

DEFINITELY MORE GRIP! At least that’s the experience with my Red Dragon 26g Fusion setup. I removed the black paint from the scalloped section using your suggested acetone process, thank you very much for the tip. Wow like night and day difference! The scalloped part is a total 5 now! Unreal. I’m not saying that every dart will do that but this particular grip pattern did.

😂😂 Thumbnail had me for a brief second until I recognized the barrels. A lot of these generic Red Dragon barrels throw really well for me. Lethal Magics, Precision Ringed, etc... One of the reasons they've always been a favorite of mine from early on. I'm with you though on NitroTech stems, can't stand those types. Usually just hand those off to the bar.

Haha, I added the troll face to the thumbnail before I posted for a bit of fun. But yeah, the stems aren't great. You have to carefully bend the prongs open to get the flights in... but once they're in they aren't popping off.

I’ve found that an overly aggressive ring grip can cause me problems in grouping as well as a chance for a bounce out. Those rings are pretty deep. If you watch the video closely, you can see the marks where the rings are getting chipped up.

My friend had these darts in one of the Red Dragon Starter Packs and I remember that the grip was very nice. Unfortunately, the weight was large, so they were sold ;)

That intro was gold 🤣 wouldn't put it past RD to rename them lethal venom and slap Peters face on the box, can confirm the discount code does work with RD products, used it last week when i picked up a set of TX1 darts, great review as always. 👍

Worldwide; Really nice review. It's funny watching Snakebite this year; he's probably used at least a dozen different types of darts this year; with varying results. I think he's even changed darts once or twice during actual matches. I also don't like the Nitro Tech stems; really hard to get the flights inserted into the stems. You're a bad influence (LOL); after trying the one piece flights/stems from various manufacturers I really prefer them to the normal two piece set up. Thanks and keep the videos rolling.

They also look like Ted Hankey not sure if I spelled that right but I know I have a brand new set of his darts in one of my closets and they look almost identical they've never been opened and I also have his coffin case....lol

These look very similar to the Red Dragon Pegasus, which I got right here. The grip is a lot better than it looks actually. I originally thought the paint would make them slippery but at least the Pegasus are really good. I can't speak for the Wright 57s of course

Is the 57 for the amount of sets of darts Peter Wright has in his case for each match? Does his case have a Heinz logo on it? I think you could pick up any Red Dragon set the way he's going and he'd use them. If you manage to find a set he doesn't use, he 'will' use them. 🤣 Seriously I wonder if he tried those because Anderson throws some similar to correct an issue he had? I wonder if he changes darts because his concentration is in and out so he does it to try to make himself concentrate again?

How similar would you say it is to the Gary Anderson Phase 6? Similar shape just quite a bit bigger for sure, and not as grippy from what it seems

Kind of similar but there's a much more gradual taper on the Ando's. I've not thrown the Phase 6 darts but I'm guessing it would be completely different.

Ah okay, for some reason I thought you reviewed the Phase 6s. I currently use them and saw Peter throwing these darts, gave me a similar vibe to the 6s

Great review .... appreciate the insight but i dont think front loaded is best suited for me seems as though when leaving my hand they are 97% of the time low or to the right as though flights amd stems are to light on the back end..... prolly just me but i cant throw them

Same here!! You wouldn't believe the frustration I had when I was trying to hit a 180. The first dart kept landing low just about every throw. I was sticking the first dart about 1/2 inch low in the same place over and over. I was getting soooo mad with these things 😂
