Wow this is incredible. The style is so potent, and that classic weight and fluidity that is in all your animations is at its peak here. I really love how in structure it feels like a level to a side scroller, especially the way the "boss" at the mid-point is introduced, it is very clear you draw your influences from Metroid and obviously MGRR, but they are also subtle enough nods to the franchises that they act more as homage than just straight up fanservice to them. Really enjoyed this, thanks for making it, I am going to proceed to show this to everyone I know now. Sidenote, the way that hand comes apart at 2:14 is beautiful, loved the choice to make the monster out of a mix of Bionicle and Lego pieces.

This was by far one of the most unique stop motions I’ve seen the almost 2D silhouette style was really something to behold. And of course the animation itself was incredible and the bits of muzzle flashes to have occasional lit shots was such a nice touch. You never cease to amaze me with these 👌👌

Awesome! Overall just a really interesting and unique theme as well as color scheme. I especially enjoyed the ending where the paper rips, that was a fantastic practical effect. Camera work was also superb especially the fluidity of the zooms in and out of the action. I loved how much effort went into the fight versus the bionicle monster, having the figure climb up inside the mouth was something I never would expect. The detail of the terrain falling off or being used as a shield was also a really cool concept. Great stuff per usual.

There’s just something about that sword fight, that just so fluid and smooth yet so impactful. and using a black light for that glow without the light being too bright and ruining the silhouette style is absolutely genius! Woah :O the poses and silhouettes were so readable, the movement so fluid, the action and choreography so inspired with such great and memorable beats, and the in-camera lighting was so meticulous and creative! I loved the escalation throughout the whole video, and every beat during the Fenrakk Kaiju fight! Especially the claw reveal taking me back to 3D action platformer boss fights like in Ben 10: Protector of Earth or the Force Unleashed 2. And of course the Godzilla styled laser breath build up sound! Some of your best work Charlie, loved every second of it! Another instant classic in the bag, keep it up, King 👑

Well, this is perfect. Well done! The character at 0:50 is really creative! I like it! Hell, every character in this is unique in one way or another, which makes it all the better! The very obvious use of blue accent lighting on a red backdrop looks REALLY good! Especially with the characters and platform being mostly in darkness! It really makes the lighting effects such as the muzzle flashes show even more, and feel more impactful! The movement is extremely fluid! Yeah, not much more to say there. It's just satisfying to watch. Even though it says "Bionicle" in the title, 1:30 REALLY surprised me. I kinda never thought about just how much bigger Bionicles are when compared to Mega Bloks figures. It's a genius use of scale. I also like how the destroyed part of the platform goes from just a crater to a full on pit, just from the hand landing next to it. It makes it feel like either that part of the platform was barely holding itself together, or the creature is VERY powerful. (Or both.) I don't need to explain why I like 1:57. It's obvious. Same with 2:54. In short, I love every single second and detail of this video.

It's a cool thing how the lighting changes when the monster appears. It was mainly blue/purple lighting for the first half, but as we get to the monster fight, it fades a little, leaving the silhouette of the monster and main character, with the other lighting being the gunshots and the blasts from the monster, with the previous blue lighting being a little apparent as well. Not sure if that type of change of lighting was intentional, but I think it was neat.

Everything about this is absolutely astronomically stellar. Things such as the evolution of the enemies getting bigger, smarter and better armed to the fact that this was a ‘one shot take’ fight scene which would have been a pain to make considering the length and complexity. The lighting was beautiful and unique with a almost neon/silhouette like feel towards it. The vfx were well done and blended pretty well except for one instance at the start. The fight choreography was unique, fresh and contemporary with a lot of cool quirks to it such as the back mounted machine gun or the drop kicks/slide kicks. The 2D horizontal feel to the Camara is also a very unique and unseen style that is quite nice and effective. The animation itself was beautiful with good pacing that was not too fast or too slow with impact on each punch and a nod of respect to the animation principals (great ease in ease out, follow through, squash and stretch, weight, anticipation etc...). The music complemented and glued the whole ordeal well by providing a way to show the progression of the video subconsciencely to viewers through audio. Overall this was a very cool and different mega construx animation that I’m sure will inspire me and many others to practice and implement hand to hand combat more often. Great work.
