@@luckyspray i think people mean to refer to John as the soul of the band as far as a lot of the writing and melodic force. Flea is also immensely important as a writer too. John says flea wrote universally speaking. But I think it's pretty common or almost to obvious too mention that flea and Chad as a rhythm section are equally important to the band.

It happened to me, I had to say goodbye to my adored doggy in May this year (Enero was his name, it means "January" in spanish), and from the moment he left this life, I've been able to feel his presence, love and company in every way shape and form, all through my days and nights!!! I miss his physical form, no doubt about it, but our bodies are just borrowed cages that serve as a vehicle for our soul and eventually they just stop working... But where does that vital energy go?
