This was not only the greatest solo of all the history of rock and roll, it was pure expression. The secret recesses of the human soul exposed in a brutal way. In a way in which it makes you connect with the most underneath emotions maybe stuck within yourself, screams for sincerity, for peace, screaming in agony for understanding. The kind of Art that makes you believe in the human race. That makes you wanna live. This guy did all of that in twelve minutes. He lived a thousand lifetimes, felt a thousand lives, he went into a journey in which only a few people went and dare to. His expressions makes you feel welcomed, seen, heard, valued, loved. In times where nobody seems to understand us or not even ourselves seems to notice to what direction we must go, this guy came and makes you feel like a friend. That’s why John Frusciante is one if not my favorite artist in which, in my limited life, I could came across. I’m forever grateful to have been able to feel this piece of art, this living entity, in my life. Thanks John.

And Flea would probably spit in their wheaties. You’ll never find a bigger fan of their music, but John hates media, hates the music industry, has been to hell and back and all people do is think about themselves being happy. I've actually been refraining from commenting on this piece simply because I know that if I do, I wouldn't be able to stop complementing it in every single way possible. What they've done here, without any rehearsal, is amazing. The harmonies they put together using nothing but imrpovisation and their ability to read each other...and at such a high quality of music at the same time. Ridiculously good. These guys aren't just legends of rock, they are legends of music.

Man they go hard at the end. I love how at minute 11:08, during the existential screaming of his guitar, John looks at Flea and Chad, with an expression of euphoric pain, that he has given all he could and flea realises its time to wrap this up(interesting how at that moment John's final guitar note begs Flea to drop the octave as if to indicate he's reached the depths of his sorrow and Flea wilfully/unwilfully adheres to his seruptious instruction. Seems john drives their rhythm and aggression here) maybe Im just drunk. I'm in awe and confusion

@iammsatrio19515 жыл бұрын
You mean 2000 times?
@WJL914 жыл бұрын
Lee Thomas I would sum it up by saying Isn’t it amazing to think that the solos the majority mainly mention as tearing up to are solos towards the end of the stadium Arcadium tour? The period where things weren’t great in the RHCP camp, which just shows the pure “real” emotions they invest into their music, mainly John. These last few months of John solos, you can hear the pain and sadness in some of the solos, because deep down this is how he was feeling towards the end. There is a 1990 quote where John talks about Hendrix and his pure emotion he invests into his instrument at every given time he’s playing. John does this throughout his whole career too. Not once does he play in a non-authentic way. It’s always pure real emotion from his heart and his present circumstances. Beyond inspiring.
@rayhoodoo8474 жыл бұрын
@@WJL91 my thoughts exactly. i dont know if its only due to rhcp. didnt he have the divorce around that time or something? either way somethings quite not right with John in that performance.
