What's really impressive is the precission in which she plays the octaves during the chorus. Playing those notes stacatto flawlessly is fucking hard

Ms Julia what or how can I say it. You are awesome 👏!!! You’re skillful in your playing. I like to watch young bass players like yourself. Your facial expression while playing just speaks to the level of joy you get from playing a tune you love and mastered !!! Bravo young lady !!! Made me smile !!! It’s a great tune !!! Peace and much blessings to you !!!

I don't know how old you are, but I believe you can have a positive impact on many young people in the world, especially students. Tell them to pick up an instrument and discover their talents, especially when they feel down and angry at the world and school mates. Good luck.

I can't stop watching this, it's so good lol. And you add in a few notes here and there that aren't in the OG version and it really makes the song even better. Julia: I played the piano for 12 years, from the time I was 6 years old to the time I was 18 and then I quit. I won a lot of awards and concert trophies, including my school-wide talent show at 10. People called me a prodigy. I wasn't -- I just practiced a lot. I always doubted my own skill relative to how many other people in the world are awesome at the piano, and that eventually led to me quitting. Don't do what I did. You are amazing. Keep playing and never quit!!!

BimJowen, It's not to late to start playing again, music is not a competition, it's about having fun playing. There's always going to be people better than you. I'm 60 yrs old and started playing the bass 2 1/2 yrs ago, and in 10 yrs I won't be as good as Julia was at 15-16 yrs old after only playing 2 yrs. That doesn't bother me at all, because I enjoy it playing.

She does have headphones on, there could be a click. Also, when RHCP plays it live Flea & Josh cue on eachother. That doesn't mean you shouldn't work on it heh - just don't get discouraged - even the pros use clicks and cues sometimes, it's part of the game - especially in songs like this when things are washy and blurry for a while. You definitely should work on it though, rhythm & tempo are paramount always.
