I bought my first RHCP album in '99 at the ripe old age of 12, and, after hearing Flea play (which is ironically, has been my nickname since I was born in France bc it was a popular nickname for kiddos back in the late '80s), I took my entire life savings (which I had earned babysitting 3 kids under 5 at $3/hr... AH!) to buy the lousiest used bass guitar and a barely-functional 120 W amp. Now, as a 30 y/o medical student in the US (who secretly still plays bass with my husband who is a financier by day and a drummer at night), we FINALLY got to see them live for the first time in Indy the night after Chris Cornell passed away... The 18 yrs was worth the wait. Like any band, the RHCP have had some 'misses' over the years, but overall, they've done a phenomenal job of staying true to their original style (cough cough... Linkin' Park... please go back to Hybrid Theory...) and maintaining a high level of musicianship (which is no longer 'popular' in this Twenty One Pilots era). Kudos to Anthony Kiedis, Chad Smith, and Flea for keeping this band together. #Legends

Its nice to see Josh in his element, he is absolutely amazing! Some people just want to compare him to John but its not a fair comparison...You isolate Josh with new material, one he put his own hands on and WOW kid has the it factor! I've seen RHCP twice and cant wait to see them again with Josh throwing the F down!
