Same planet, two different worlds…Two polar opposites in harmony. Anthony was sober by now, and this song was written specifically about the rock bottom he wishes to never return to…meanwhile John is in deep depression and strung out on drugs. Crazy. Glad they’re both sober now.

@paul9248
@paul9248 8 жыл бұрын
not that difficult. depends on since when you play guitar. I could play it when i played guitar for 3 years. now i´m playing it very fluently, and without any problems, and im playing for 4 years. And im singing while playing.
@paul9248

If you´re a beginner, it will take about 1-3 months until you can play it. How much do you practise. I practise about 4 - 5 hours in a week. But until you can play it like john it will take 1/2 - 2 years.

Some ppl on here have no idea what their taking about. 1. Anthony kiedis was clean during this time, he quit around 1987-1988. So he's not high at all here. 2. John started doing heroin once he quit the band. 3. This song is about when kiedis was a hardcore drug addict and his only friend was a connection of his named Mario. They went to the belmont tunnel aka the hole which goes underground under a bridge. Basically that day and time period was a low point in his life.
