hi. love the design. robin, your help has made it possible for me to try new things. I see an idea of yours and I go for it. i have bought at least 100 cheap eyeshadows and used them as pigments. I got most of them on eBay in kits of 40 or more. the cheaper the better. they just make a beautiful background and ombre. even sidewalk chalk gives a very soft pastel background. thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

to me, those channels are more of hobby/fun channels. this is a reality channel :D i think i am going to say that more......its not putting down anyone who can afford all of the glam...........but, you dont NEED that stuff....its luxury.....we need technique and practice in reality and i will do all i can to provide affordable and doable art that brings happiness but also can allow you the time to practice and become great at this craft and career :D my love to you betsy :D

katalin gircso thank you. I believe that people steal for many reasons but I believe the big Channel steel for the worst reason, for money. And to steal from the heart just to make more money will give them a very sad life. I would rather have less money and people around me full of love and joy. This took me many years to conquer knowing that these big channels will steal from me and try to sell you products but I know in the end I will be proud of myself and that means more to me than anything else. Thank you for supporting me because it helps me through when I'm feeling low.

So I've been on a hunt for Wet N Wild top coat, been hard to find in my area for whatever reason. I went to Dollar Tree knowing they carry Wet N Wild. They were out =( But I did see that LA Colors has a loose pigment glitter eye shadow. I almost got it. I will next time I'm there. Beautiful art work. Its fire, lava, hearts, just gorgeous.

I have to say, I love your work, and you are an amazing artist.... though I'm kinda wondering, will you ever do a video on how you do you acrylics? So many people have their techniques and is lobe to see yours. Again, wonderful work as always!
@robinmosesnailart7 жыл бұрын
nope...i just do nail art. i believe i need help in order to answer the questions properly when i get them when working with chemicals on camera. i cant (with a light heart) share such a personal technique without backing it up 100. when everyone shares enough for my channel to be big enough for me to get help with the editing etc. I will do more and cover as much as i can. so, spread the word and know that i do my best to bring you all i can so you can have fun and be successful in a job that most people quit the first year. i feel i want to give the girls listening hardest a great chance of getting through that first year with ease :D xoxoxoxoxo

Robin! LOVE this design. I just wanted to comment on the eye shadow vs pigment thing that you've mentioned. From my research and all the channels and people I watch, eye shadow can be used in polish, but isn't as vibrant as pigment, as it has a bunch of other crap added to it, like say talcum powder, etc. It's more of a it-can-be-used-in-a-pinch type thing. People use it in frankening. Mica, which is the powder used in eye shadow and lots of different cosmetics - nail polish too - can be picked up really cheaply. And you get a LOT. I picked up about 10grams of chatreuse green about a month ago, which was enough to fill a regular sized prescription bottle, for about $3.50. When I think of how long you had that pigment, what was it? 20years? Oh my goodness! This will last a super long time! xoxo

Is dazzle dry DRY COMPLETELY in five minutes or just touch dry? Tfs!
@robinmosesnailart7 жыл бұрын
Lela Robinson dry dry. Before dazzledry I used a UV top coat that would dry under a light and this dries faster than the UV top coat a used before. It is amazing and it's a little pricey but it is the one thing that I believe you must invest in when you are investing in art supplies for nails

You probably know by now that I don't really like black on my nails.... But I'll tell you that I would oh, SO wear this mani! I was trying to think how to incorporate white along with it, and then you said that white pin stripes, and...🎆🎆!! This is a mani that is SO going onto Matilda, my practice hand, today!! That way it will be on me next. (The Dollar Tree has holo glitters in the kids section with little packets of different shades of glitter for anyone who wants some really good, inexpensive glitters.). Sunshine wants to tell you that she would love to come play with Carl! She has been getting into trouble lately with getting territorial over me with Jake. He tries to climb up beside me whenever he can lately, and that is HER place... She feels in need of a friend. Chuckles. About the friend, which is true. Not about her current bad attitude about Jake... (Your band aids... Interesting... I've never seen any like them. Be careful out there in your viscous yard!!)

I was on the street. When you are truly on the street, it is terrifying. Being a young girl, even worse. I never was given choices in life. nails............was the ONE chance i had to do something besides live in poverty and have a very bleak future ...if any future at all. I am doing this for every artist out there that thinks no one cares......youtube doesnt have a way to separate fun, comedy, hobby and REALITY yet........so THANK YOU for this comment cathie..i do care.....so much..i have ONE life and i dont want to be ashamed or felt like i could have done more.

Cute! Lol I'm curious, why doesn't she like color near her cuticles? Lololol
@robinmosesnailart7 жыл бұрын
Nelly Chan because everybody that gets their nails done by me is dang crazy LOL... Seriously, every client has their own thing but they love and what they don't like and some clients are just more specific than others. So, it's fun to work in parameters that keep you motivated to stay within a certain boundary. I like that kind of thing, but I know that it drives a lot of nail techs crazy LOL
@nellychan45997 жыл бұрын
Lol, so its just like her aesthetic then, like her thing... That's cute :) I thought it was because when it starts growing out it looks unkempt or something n she wants them to look brand new as long as possible.. Lolol or something xD
