Believe or not: Chan has mentioned that this song is about obsession with work. “Red lights” comes from the color of the lights when working in the music studio.

There's a running joke with Chan where he sort of denies any sort of sexual message the fans interpret from his "dirty" songs 🤣 I very much believe this song is about being overworked in an obsessive way but also believe Chan knew exactly what he was doing with the video and lyrics looking at it from another perspective 😄 And just like his other 2 songs, Drive and Connected, he will forever deny the sexy lyrics and as he puts it, they are "just about driving, and wifi" 🤣

Great reaction. If you ever check out any live concert performances posted on KZbin you can see where they now perform Red Lights with all 8 members singing parts and doing choreo. They also re-recorded it with all 8 so I think their is an OT8 color coded lyric video showing who sang each part.

one of their best !! it's just so different. something really deep, wrapped in a sexy way that if you don't want to, then you can just see it as that.. but if you try to understand, it's about obsession that has nothing to do with relationships and it's so cool how they do that.
