Was 4.7" thick much different from 6" as standard even among Red paddle itself? For a lighter rider only?

Thanks for the question... it really does help stability and reduce the overall windage of the board. Given that it is thinner, the paddlers centre of gravity is lower and nearer the surface of the water. The result is your end up with a much more connected feel as opposed to a 'corky' type sensation that you get from 6" inch thick boards. Hope this helps.

Can the 10’6 board take an adult and child.? Or are you better looking at 10’8 for that purpose.?

Thanks for watching Phil and the question. Yes, albeit it depends of the size of the adult. All up the 10'6 Ride can happily accomodate 105kg. The 10'8 Ride though can handle 115kg + and is certainly the more stable of the two. what board with maximum stability should i get from red for 2 people ? im 60 kg and he is 80kg...

Hi Esra, without doubt the Red Paddle Co Tandem would be the obvious choice. However, if you are considering a 'one paddler' board that can accomdate the two of you then the Red Paddle Co 12 ft 6 Voyager is worth considering as it comfortable accomodates 150kg plus. Hope this helps.
