Hi Andy, the 13'2 Voyager has long been a favourite of ours but this all new version is just on a whole new level. We would throughly recommend taking one for a spin if you get the opportunity.

@@TheSUPCompany I think I might have a good look at the 12,6 I love the double fin i have the 96 compact and have been really impressed on how well that board tracks with the double fin set up I cant wait to try that on a long board

@@TheSUPCompany не согласен что новый вояджер лучше старой версии. Если V - hull ещё полезен, то два плавника это глупая идея.

The twin fin system, although helps alot with tracking. It causes ALOT of drag. Tested the 2022 version and it is alot slower and glides lesser. But tracking is top notch.

Thanks for watching. We'd agreed with you; toeing the fins towards the centreline creates two opposing forces that cancel each otther out to promote tracking at the expense of a braking motion which decreases previous single fin levels of glide.

Thanks for watching. Red Paddle Co are certainly one of the top manufacturers of inflatables, always seeking to push innovation. We are big fans of this latest Voyager.

Have you seen the newer 12' voyager with the same shape as the 13'2" but has a width of 28" and is 1 inch thinner. You think either would be a good fit for me, a beginner (looking to grow into the board, good balance). I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs. Like to do some camping trips and maybe carry 40 lbs. Are the voyagers any good in slow moving rivers? I'd assume the longer boards are harder to turn?

I’ve finally saved enough money to buy the 13’2” 2021 Voyager, but I just noticed this video came out In September. Should I wait for the 2022 Voyager and will it also likely be on sale in late September?

Hi Eric, thank you for watching. The Red Paddle Co 2022 range will be launch in late October / early November. While we can't release any details about what is coming, all we could say is we are expecting prices to increase significantly on all products due to shipping challenges around the world.

Привет. Модель 2022 не сильно отличается от 2021. У меня доска 2019 года (с одним плавником) и я считаю её лучшей версией этой доски

Any suggestions on whether to go with this or the 12'6" Sport for a fast touring board? I'm 75kgs and looking to move on from my all round board as it's being 10 years old and I recently bought a surf specific hard board. It's mostly for 1-2 hour sea sessions with the odd, very rare, half day session. I'm also hoping to pop a 4 year on every now and then.

Hi Aidan, thanks for watching and your question. The 12'6 Sport is good but the 13'2 Voyager is just simply more efficient, more feature rich and just generally more capable. Being longer it also offers more 'real estate' with which to carry little passengers as well as kit if you aspire to tour and camp etc. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions you can reach us at help@thesupco.com

@@TheSUPCompany Hi. Thanks for the reply. I'm all on for efficiency, features and real estate so maybe I'm best to deciding between the 12'6 voyager and the 13'2 voyager. I'm guessing that'll mostly be a trade-off of stability versus efficiency. There's a lot to be said for a board that can deal with choppy conditions in the sea as I'll mostly be touring / cruising in the sea close to Dublin City.

@@aidanoconnor7299 the 12'6 Voyager and 13'2 Voyager models may share the same name but they are very different boards. The 12'6 is certainly far more stable than the 13'2 but it noticably 'bigger' / 'bulkier' and as a result just not as a willing to yield the same levels of glide as the 13'2. At the end of the day every board is a compromise in some way, its just where you are prepared to make those compromises. If stablity is key then go for the 12'6 Voyager, it seems like it may provide you with the best balance across the factors you are looking for. Worst, worst case... Red Paddle Co boards are sort after and command great residual values, so after a years worth of use, you will not have an issue in finding a buyer and retain much of the price you would have paid. We will be doing shooting some comparison videos between the Voyagers and other shortly, so keep watching our channel for updates. Take care.

@@TheSUPCompany that sounds great doing the comparison videos. I look forward to it. It was easy to order an all round board online without a demo but much harder with a touring board given the extra cost

why no speed tail - water release on the voyager !?

And install on voyager 13.2 kick tail and return one fin. On version 13.2, the second fin, in my opinion, is superfluous. It adds stability to the Board, but the Board loses maneuverability

Mine stretched out after using my 12’6” three times, with no luggage under those bungees. They look great, but only one still has tension. It wasn’t left in the sun or weather either

another one where someone stands next to a board and talks about it, you would do this for a car review so why do it for a sup?
