light is indeed a nightmare when you film like he does, with multiple clones, as it requires the lighting changes to have to be the exact same for every take, for every clone. which is why he has his friend Eli from VoicePlay to help him program the lighting changes so that they are exactly the same every time. Eli has taught himself to program the automation of the lights, so that VoicePlay (and now by extension Geoff) can do more advanced lighting in their videos without having to hire an extra person to do that for them. it's not unusual to do 50 or even 80 takes for a full music video with VoicePlay, and every single take has to have the same light as the previous take or it can't be used. thanks to Eli programming every single light, they can rely on the lights doing the exact same thing every single time at the exact same moment, instead of just having a static lighting setup.

One of my favourites. Such an original and fascinating arrangement of this old carol. He's a one off. Geoff gets deeper and deeper, I have thought that if he gets any deeper only elephants and whales will hear him. LOL
