FUN FACT!! Red Riot's Unbreakable has, as you read from the episode, a time limit, but i've read somewhere the reason for this time limit is that he hardens every single part of his body a lot, including lungs, so basictly he doesn't get air to circulate, or gets very little, that's why it's a hard limit Maybe he will in the future learn more control over the quirk to prevent important organs that shouldn't harden from doing so, that would be great!

Kirishima is sometimes called "puppy" by some fans, but we can clearly tell that he is a good boy. His "unbreakable" form is terrifying to look at (although badass) and that's precisely what stopped him from using it, he was afraid of scaring others, now that this lock is removed, he can only move forward even further.

The pairing of Kirishima and Suneater is so perfect. Suneater being anxious and having so many self doubts and then you have Kirishima who is the most relentlessly positive person there is who always wants to encourage those around him. There could be no better character to pair him with.

What happened to Kirishima is the second level of mutation. Some Quirks, when trained and pushed to their limits, can evolve and give rise to a second mutation, almost like a second Quirk. However, since Quirks are physical manifestations, they have a very harsh physical repercussion. Not everyone can reach this level; it requires many factors, such as the user's generation, genetics, strength, training, and an extremely stressful situation to trigger them. They cannot be manifested at any time due to the excessive bodily tension.

8:12 this does go to show some differences in culture (which can be pretty cool) like i'm from Argentina, and we latinos can be very informal so calling someone "gordo" (fat) while at first sight can sound like mean and insulting, can meant to be said in an endearing way, like why she's worried that food seller was insulting Fat Gum, to me it was only meant in an endearing way and to show that both of them are in good terms.

Yes, anyone can train their quirk to insane degrees, it’s just harder to do for more complex quirks. People with straightforward quirks have to compensate for having few tricks by making those specific tricks practically unbeatable.

Let's go, Ladies! 4:00 Eh, it's Yen, so not that much, and he's someone overhaul Trusts enough to have had at both secret meetings with a major rival/potential ally. I definitely get OCD adjacent vibes from Overhaul. The man is heavily fixated on order and cleanliness, if not outright sterility. Like last time, seeing villain egos come head to head is so interesting to watch. The red rounds. Rest assured, you'll be told what that thing does and what it cost to make it. Shy boi's costume is nice. I appreciate a face mask when durability boosts are so relatively rare. Eh, it is fair to critique him for not being able to handle the emotional expenditure of interacting. Being a pro hero often means regularly meeting strangers in high stress scenarios. So being cripplingly shy is actually not okay for a lot of variations on the job. No worries, the neighborhood knows Fat, and they love him. Especially the restaurants who he is a generous patron of. Not hentai, buffet line! I love how Kiri is trying to pump confidence into this boy like air into a tire with a leak. And you know Kiri would be one of the guys trying to keep the car running, with getting out ever 50 miles to pump if he was in a bus with a leaky tire. Can I also get a big order of validation? But only when I earn it! Red rounds are power disable bullets. Imagine villains or Yakuza pulling up on heroes with Mac-10's loaded with a mix of these and regular rounds. Most heroes don't have heightened durability or kevlar weave costumes. Kiri is lucky to have one of the quirks that does offer advanced full body protection, but if he was hit by one of these before activating his quirk.... Oh, our two bit gangster isn't actually messing with Kiri. He may be stalling, but he is being honest. He craved greater power. And now he's willing to take extreme measures to get it. Kiri's not wrong, the market caters to flashy firepower. And with his hardening up to now, short of body paint and tattoos, it can be hard to tell he's doing his thing. But he can still lean into his nature to show something no one else does. He may not be the only living wall, but as of 18:35 He has surpassed his rival, Tetsu. Because if diet Colossus at home had taken that hit, he'd already be cracked and possibly bleeding. Everyone can hone their limits, and some may even awaken entire realms of new options, but to push it this far into such powerful extremes, one must have both fierce determination and a quirk that can reward going the distance. Though it's hard to say how many people's quirks have serious untapped potential since only a small portion are willing and legally allowed to find their limits and push past them to reach their highest potential. Like, that reporter dude with the camera quirk. Could he increase the size to a telescope? Make a milspec composite IR and UV surveillance array? Or if he can make flash cameras, how big of a total flash could be make? How far could Deku's mom's pull only telekinesis by pushed? We don't know, and likely won't. They're not trying to push their quirks to the max or to find combat applications. As for the hero course students, Tetsu's demonstrated durability in the face of slow shots from at most a mid caliber revolver was pathetic.... 19:29 would have drilled through him. Meanwhile Red Riot tanked it all and was still standing with the energy to counterattack through metal blades. So if Tetsu can be this durable? He needs to completely revamp how he trains and motivates to get there. Maybe even how he goes through life. For now though, Kirishima has thoroughly won the rivalry. Bakugo already has the seethe down pat, so he might as well start learning to cope.

This week, after a long time, I have decided to watch this anime, despite my friends saying it's trash and seeing so many but so many people hating on it. I have watched it, all 6 seasons + The Movies in less than 1 week and now I am watching your reactions. I just needed to say that I genuinely love this anime and movies so much!!!!! Your English is coherent and comes across well. I can see people getting tired of shonen tropes of "power of friendship" and so forth, but what I like about MHA is the realism it brings to a world where superhuman abilities just appeared, how they tie in with problems of the modern day such as the marriage system that Endeavor used, recognition of Social Media (massive props to Horikoshi for making it so realistic and capitalized upon), and for making every character - antagonists included - feel like real people with real motivations, regardless of the depth of those motivations.

Few moments in which I love the English dub more, when Bakugo uplifts Kirishima, in the dub he says, "Just standing up, means that you ARE strong." I really like the emphasis on words and that it's vague enough to mean a lot more. Like, "Sometimes, being a survivor is proof that you're strong. Waking up and getting out of bed in the morning, despite it all, means you're strong." That sorta shit. I love it, aghk-

Not to hate on our lovely frog girl but anybody else thinking that combo move in the beginning was like 99.9% Uraraka? Tsuyu can only speed up the small amount she can grab and throw with her tongue. The rest was all Uravity. Just a random thought I had I didn't think of my first watch through.

Not exactly, uraraka does the heavy lifting yes, but she lacks the ability to reasonably direct her storm of debris after the start while it’s all airborne. She just makes it float, she can’t mentally control it or anything. Froppy keeps the storm from heading too far from the target by use of her jumps and tongue.
