Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a naturally formed, world-famous outdoor venue, which has hosted artist like The Beatles, The Grateful Dead and Jimi Hendrix. The goal is to tell you more about the location and show you what you can see and do if you decide to visit.

I went to the Red rocks amphitheater this last April and it was amazing being there with that amazing views.

I got there to the amphitheater after 2 hours and 35 minutes walk from Golden Ridge, I haven't found an Uber or Lyft that day for a ride and no other way to go there besides walking. Going back some German tourists couple took me closer to Golden Ridge again to take the tram back to Denver Downtown, thanks to them.😅😅

Every time I see this place I think of Under a Blood Red Sky that features U2 here at Red Rocks from June 5, 1983. I wish I was there! I would take seeing that there on a big screen. I would take that. Maybe a bunch of people that saw the original gig will be there. Please tell me all about the original night when this performance happened. I think it was truly a great one. You can look it up on KZbin. Funny that I lived maybe an hour away in Colorado Springs at the USAFA (loved that place), and have been to Red Rocks, but when I was there I wasn't aware of that particular U2 gig at all.
