Really exceptional growth on the BC pieces! Well done. Nice recap!

Thank you! Patiently waiting for my darn pearl berry to grow, thanks to the inspiration from one of your past tanks…there were a few select pieces I didn’t highlight in this video because they just don’t want to grow for some reason. Maybe year 2 right? 😅

@@zburnreefing We all have those pieces. These days I have to nurse many of these stunted small frags into an actual healthy growing frags first. Slow process and very frustrating. Getting a healthy growing frag with growth tips is key! Not always available though.

Really incredible growth just 1 year in with that tank! I'd love to hear you recap to your challenges to get here and what you have plans for next.

Appreciate the feedback! There has definitely been some ups and downs. I’ll get a video up describing those downs for sure! Not getting too down mentally and pushing through may just be the key.

Everything’s looking good. I just picked up an ORA red Goni from Cherry Corals at a frag swap. It’s doubled in size in like 2 months. Yours is huge.

That’s awesome; great choice! One of the most bullet proof gonis out there for sure. Mine seems to enjoy occasional feedings of reef roids.

I love your videos so much! Big thanks from Brazil!! 🇧🇷 please dont stop. Inspiring on you. Where have you got this MH? Is there some place in the US lilke a marketplace that i can buy used items? Thanks
@zburnreefing22 күн бұрын
Thank you for your kind feedback. Yes, I need to get some more videos ready! :) My MH fixture I got off Reef2reef. It’s a great forum and they have a selling goods section. You can still buy them new from Germany, but they are quite expensive. Sometimes eBay has them as well - it’s a Giesemann Spectra.

@@zburnreefingthank you! Have you changed your feeding method? You do once a week?
@zburnreefing21 күн бұрын
@@Dibilibix27 no real changes. Feed fish heavy each day - pellets, nori, and mysis. I also feed coral particulate foods about twice a week to keep nutrients up. Usually reef roids and benepets. If phosphate gets too high, I’ll cut back on the coral foods temporarily. I also will feed some oyster feast a couple times a week as well.

@@zburnreefing Nice! Last question, could please send me the link or name of your two part with traces. Is the ESV, but I didn't find all together.
Great! Balling? Calcium reactor, what are you using to replace macro and micro?
@zburnreefing22 күн бұрын
I'm dosing ESV Bionic 2 part (which has some trace) and water changes.

NICE!! What salt do you use?
@zburnreefing2 ай бұрын
Thanks! I have been using tropic Marin pro reef salt. Seems to keep my parameters stable. I also have used reef crystals for years but don’t love the high alk when doing larger water changes.

My tank was devastated with velvet. Its so hard to see my tank fallow

That is terrible; sorry to hear it. Keep your head up and persevere!
