The only problem is that Red Shoes' corrupted self probably did not intend on a truly peaceful coexistence but just assimilated one where rapture and humanity are legion, where humanity gives up both its freedom and ultimately its existence to the raptures in order to "win". It's quite literally the old saying of "if you can't beat them, join them".

To be honest, she's the Otto Apocalypse of Nikke. Here's why: - They both obsessively simped for something that made them become a villain (Kallen/Raptures) - Both are scientists and have a connection with religion (Red Shoes being a priest and Otto knowing Kallen plus his family status). - Both were twisted long before becoming a powerful being (Herrscher/2nd Gen Grimm model Nikke) - Both wanted power and knowledge and were willing to sacrifice everything for it. - Both made a mistake that solidified their path towards villainy (believing in Raptures being a force of good; being responsible for Kallen's death by using Honkai beasts) - Both corrupted a silver-haired girl into committing genocide against humanity (Herrscher of the Void/Anachiro) by using a third party to influence them (The Rapture Queen/Sirin). - Both have blonde hair. - Both ironically gave humanity a fighting chance in their own twisted way - Both provoked the characters they once corrupted and got defeated or killed by them. - Both more or less achieved their goals. - Both saw themselves as villains with a cause and were fully aware their own plans were batshit insane. - Both are responsible for countless lives lost and for humanity losing their fight against the alien creatures (Raptures/Honkai). - Both made the main character unstoppably strong when they were corrupted and post-corruption that strength helped them save humanity by confronting the source of the invasion itself. - Both have insane ideals: "Becoming a villain to save Kallen" and "Unifying everything." And didn't care about humanity at all. - Both are selfish, ruthless and cunning in their goals. - They used Honkai Cells and Rapture code to corrupt the heroines of the story while they were in stasis.

The shoes suddenly move on its own and made her dance nonstop till she collapse infront of a woodcutter's home where she said the whole truth and the red shoes released her swollen feet. Then she apologies to her grandma.

So the story of The Red Shoes, the Danish one republished in 1845, is much worse. Look it up pretty bad honestly. Tl;dr (More detailed summary below) Young girl named Karen adopted by rich old lady, old lady buys pretty red shoes for spoiled, vain adopted daughter. She wears them to church gets scolded, wears them next week again the shoes get cursed. Adoptive mom dies she fucks off to a dance instead of attending the funeral shoes start making her dance, *she* gets cursed by an angel. Girl finds executioner to chop of feet, succeeds. Tries going to church, shoes dance menacingly, tries again, shoes block again. Next week gives up and prays for help, angel comes by and helps releasing her from the mortal coil. More detailed summary: The girl was called Karen, her mom died when she was very young and a rich old lady adopts her and spoils her making her grow up vain and spoiled. Before she was adopted she had a roughly made pair of red shoes, she convinces the old lady to buy her red shoes fit for a princess. She loves them so much she take them to church, the old lady scolds her that she should wear black shoes to church because anything else is improper. Next time church comes around she wears the red shoes again, some old soilder with a red beard, says the shoes look great for dancing and to never come off when dancing then taps them. After church she does some dance steps and starts dancing, not realising the shoes were controlling her, stopping a few minutes later. Fast forward old lady gets suck and dies, funeral happens but she goes to a dance instead. She starts dancing, but can't stop this time as the shoes completely take control. An angel, with a sword, shows up condemns her to dance even after death, as a warning against vanity in children. She begs for mercy but the shoes take her away before she hears an answer. She goes to an executioner and has him chop of her feet because she can't take them off and she's always dancing. He cuts them off and gives her crutches and wooden feet. She tries to go to church, so people can see her thinking shes suffered enough, the shoes with her amputated feet dance in front of the door. Next Sunday she tries again thinking she's at least as good a person as the other people in church, the shoes are there again. Next Sunday she gives up, and prays to God for help. Same angel that condemned her appears, with roses instead of a sword, and give her the mercy she asked for. Her heart is filled with so much joy and peace it bursts, and she goes to Heaven where no one mentions the red shoes.

During the revelation i was actually horrified. All the damage that she made with her experiment is just unmesurable. Since the start of the game we see the aftermath of her madness, one would imaginr that she's an evil scientist that hates the world or something. But in the confrontation, she acts..."normaly", it's not the big moment when the villain rejoices in her triumph... she's just talking as if she just figured out a neat lifehack. If we are gunna theorise how she lives on, then her tampering with the corruption code is one obvious possibility. They can basically do a Dr. Zola with Red Shoes like how Marvel did in Captain America: Winter Soldier. It's also possible that she IS alive but used differently. For all we know, Red Shoes might be Sixo. The timing of their debuts are quite close. Your answer doesn't explain why Red Shoes would be left out of the team. If Abe was the true source of corruption, then it would have been Abe that would have been blamed for all this, not Red Shoes. That wouldn't have been a reason for Cinderella not to mention her when recounting her past. However, its entirely possible that Red Shoes had already been fully corrupted before Cinderella and that Cinderella doesn't know this herself because the story is always told from the perspective of the characters, not the narrator. We aren't told anything that the characters themselves don't know.

My theory was that the tea was a "corruption vaccine" of sort that Red Shoes was wanting to test, or out of worry for her friend, but it backfired. This allows Red Shoes to be recruitable in the future and still lets Cinderella hate Red Shoes because she still was the cause of all her suffering.

Corruption seems to use a NIKKE's motivation as it's driving force. Was Red Shoes fighting it like Red Hood? Did she somehow shove the corruption into her weapon which "cursed" them so they took off after they were severed?

I agree. I think her pursuit of knowledge and power led her to this point. All the clues lead to her. I think the corruption came from within glass slippers and when Red Shoes helped abe fine tune cindy to go with the goddess squad. Kind of why cindy has the one slipper on it's own.

I dont think the droplets were from Red Shoes. I think its from Siren/Little Mermaid because iirc her power is related to manipulating a special type of water or something along those lines, and even when Cinderella smashed up her jaw and almost killed her she was still quite concerned about her and whether they could bring her back over to their side or not
