For people who actually watched him play, and watched him win playoff series almost single handedly with nothing but his bat, the decision to let him in was the only one to make. Your opinion doesn’t matter, and it’s not because society is collapsing. It’s because you just don’t matter in terms of HOF votes. It’s a broken popularity contest anyway. Tons of guys who deserve to be in either aren’t or had to wait a while to get in. They made the right call here though

@@drwalka10 yes, I think in 2003. Although it’s unfortunate he used those substances I think some of his achievements make up for it. Also, the steroid/PED tests were supposed to remains anonymous. But according to Ortiz, too many Yankees tested positive for the that test in 2003. The NY Times weren’t too happy, and they leaked David’s test in return. 🤷‍♂️
